Could get a top 10 clear out next week then - Misha B and Bruno Mars are very likely, then we've got Rita Ora performing on X-Factor this weekend, and what I'm positive'll be a chart hit, 'Tidal Wave' by Sub Focus. Officially, that'd push out Maroon 5, Taylor Swift, PSY and Rihanna most likely.

Are we really completely discounting Christina Aguilera? :( (Especially if we're considering Misha B and Sub Focus as competition...)

Misha B is going to wipe the floor with Christina! She's held it back FAR too long, has little to zero airplay or promotion (does she have any lined up?). Plus the song isn't half as good as people on here make it out to be and are only creaming themselves because it's Christina. If it was a Katy Perry single it'd have been deemed as generic and just merely, "OK". This'll just be a fanbase buy in all honesty. I'm expecting something like a 'Keeps Getting Better', sort of success. That's if she's lucky tbh.
All depends on when RiRi premieres the 'Diamonds' video! Bitch better release it on Monday or something, if she does it the week Little Mix release 'DNA' and she prevents them from getting to number 1, I'm going to cut some bitches! [/similar post to last week]

I doubt the video effect will be big enough to propel it back to #1 tbf. DNA should be a cert for #1.

I just pray that Misha manages it too (though i'd be ECSTATIC with top 10!)

I see 'Your Body' being 'Dance Again' 2.0 on the chart, now that I think about it. Hopefully Xtina won't drop out of the top 10 at the last second, though.

I can see Xtina peaking at like #8, at the very best. It'll probably miss top 10 though (only just) because it's a busy week - I can definitely see Misha B, Rita Ora, The Wanted and probably Sub Focus charting higher than her anyway.
I've only heard Your Body once on a music video channel and a few times on a local radio station. This isn't going to do very well at all.

I haven't heard Your Body AT ALL. I haven't bothered to go searching for it myself, and I haven't heard it on any advert, TV or radio station. I predict 2-3 weeks top 40 for this thanks to lack of airplay and Christina's flop status.

I predict

01 Locked Out Of Heaven

03 I Found You

07 Do You Think Of Me?

09 Shine Ya Light

13 Tidal Wave

14 Your Body

29 Never Again (haven't heard this but Trey has suddenly got some T40s so I think this'll do a Heart Attack)

34 The Motorcycle

A big week for new releases! :o

I've heard Your Body LOTS of times on TV, but never on radio. On a less busy week, I would say it would go low Top 10.

That's merely based on your experiences though. It's undoubtedly getting very little airplay but TV play is good and the EP is top 100 on pre-orders. That's far more powerful evidence than the experiences of a few people. I'm not saying the song IS going to do very well, but people shouldn't judge how something is going to do based on how much they've heard it when there is far more reliable evidence available.

Suppose it makes sense that Rita's video only just came out, 'Shine Ya Light' is climbing ridiculously fast though ( to #23) - maybe her #1 record could still remain intact after XF?! I dislike the song but would prefer it at #1 over Bruno :P

We all know it'll be No Doubt who get the #1 after XF. Ahem.

(On a serious note, they tweeted the 'Looking Hot' video would be released later today - really need this to go top forty!)

iTunes now has Bruno's release date as 11 November!

Bruno Mars is NOT beating Little Mix with that disappointing mess

This is out already through Trey's album and doing nothing (currently #226). Shame as it's a lot better than 'Simply Amazing'.

And OH DEAR GOD NO at Bruno releasing on the 11th of November - that'll make it my birthday #1 :arrr:

It's almost worth having an worse #1 next week just to see the Buzzjack meltdown were Bruno to beat Little Mix.

I'd personally take this 11 Nov date with a pinch of salt, seeing as the release date has now changed twice in the same week

That said, it would be funny if Bruno beat Little Mix to #1 (especially when they have an XF slot)

What's with the Buzzjack hate on LooH? :( I don't even care though cause it's still going to sh** over all these other releases in the upcoming weeks longevity wise, except maybe Olly's single. :w00t: Hopefully he get's an X Factor performance next week!

Am I the only one that thinks her single is going to flop, I haven't see any buzz around it and do people actually know she has a new single out, anyhow I do think she is going to struggle to get a top 40 hit unless I'm proven wrong.

If Bruno Mars' track is still getting released this Sunday, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it remained at #1 the following week. So either way it'd most likely be a lose/lose situation for Little Mix.

Poor Little Mix. :( (it'll be their 'Better In Time' outsold by the smallest of margins). Looking forward to KOBBAR's rant already. ^_^

And? I watched the music channels all day on Saturday and it came up ONCE. Now, if a video is only getting played once on the music channels every day, surely that's a bad sign for its chart prospects? Plus, the reason why it might be doing so well on pre-orders is because it's Christina, and when people hear the song, they might not like it and might get rid of it.

Don't be so quick to respond, young James. ^_^

But it still counts as a sale even if they delete it straight away. I reckon poor Christina will just miss out on top 10, probably in the #11-15 section with 27,000 sales or something.
