November 9, 201212 yr Rule the World All the Things She Said Bad Romance Say it Right Edited November 9, 201212 yr by AnthonyT
November 9, 201212 yr Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars. Mind you, that should actually become a million-seller before the end of 2013 (I have it on 922k now). Seriously? :o
November 9, 201212 yr Madonna - Vogue Take That - Rule the world Agreed I wanna say random songs that are my most played on iTunes Rebecca Ferguson - Too Good Too Lose (Seamus Haij Mix) Kelis - Accapella Kylie - All the lovers Whitney - Million $ bill (Freemasons mix) Donkeyboy - City Boy Calvin - I'm not alone La Roux - Bulletproof Alphabeat - The Spell ABBA - Tiger Little Boots - Stuck on repeat And Elephant by The Burke (i don't really like her but the mix is incredible!) etc Edited November 9, 201212 yr by stebags
November 9, 201212 yr Yeah, Rihanna's Umbrella definitely should have been. Such a shame 2007 was such a low selling year! It'd only just managed to cross over 500k sales in 2007, which was no mean feat at the time. It's slowly but surely making its way towards 800k now. I bet it would surprise some people to learn that 'Umbrella' isn't one of Rihanna's three million selling singles!
November 9, 201212 yr sugar sugar is a million seller. I bought it as a kiddie, so I take the credit:) Just to bring a few non-pop-diva into suggestions, Baker Street (Gerry rafferty), the much better Righteous Brothers song "You've Lost That Loving Feeling", "West End Girls" Pet Shop Boys, Abba "Knowing Me Knowing You", New Radicals "You Get What You Give". and just to agree with the diva suggestions, "Toxic" isnt just Britney's greatest record which had the misfortune to come out during all-time low sales periods, it's one of the 10 greatest records of that decade by anyone. A big shame it'll never approach the million mark!
November 9, 201212 yr If Wonderwall and Sex on Fire can sell a million then I dont see why A Design for Life hasn't past 2 million :D
November 9, 201212 yr A few big hitters that I wish had done. The big ones: Christina Aguilera ft Redman - Dirrty Pussycat Dolls ft Busta Rhymes - Don't Cha Natasha Bedingfield - These Words (These Words Part 2 passed a million early this year year to be fair though) Also: Robert Miles - Children Shakira ft Wyclef Jean - Hips Don't Lie Shakira - Whenever, Wherever And far more...

November 9, 201212 yr Billie Jean has sold an estimated 942,000 copies, thanks to Andy on Haven. Hhmm...Only a brilliant X Factor performance away from 1m, perhaps...thanks for the figure. :)
November 9, 201212 yr Natasha Bedingfield - These Words (These Words Part 2 passed a million early this year year to be fair though) And These Words Part 2 is otherwise known as...?
November 9, 201212 yr Any Michael Jackson single. The fact that Earth Song is his only million seller surprises me greatly. I know I keep going on about it but it's the same with Madonna, who has none. How can the two BIGGEST pop stars of the last 25 years only have one million seller between them?! And yet Kylie has two! November 9, 201212 yr Atomic Kitten's "Whole Again" is surely very close? An X Factor performance could just do it Katy Perry - Firework because it was massive and stuck around for ages; I Kissed a Girl as it was number one for five weeks and maybe California Gurls as that was fairly massive too Girls Aloud - Sound of the Underground. Shame it was released as sales were dipping at the end 2002 into 2003, had it been released in a healthier sales climate it definitely would've passed a million. Same with The Black Eyed Peas "Where Is The Love" (6 weeks at #1)
November 10, 201212 yr Spice Girls - Say You'll be there. Though hopefully will be getting close by the end of this year. Less than 60k away when last sales update was known in 2009. With trickle sales, the Olympics and the musical hopefully it will be less than 30k away by year end.
November 10, 201212 yr Price Tag. I think it sounds much more like Where is the Love than These Words. If we're going to talk recent million-sellers sounding like Natasha Bedingfield songs, it's Call Me Maybe sounding like Unwritten. Edited November 10, 201212 yr by Eric_Blob

And yet Kylie has two! I agree, it is crazy. I guess they have plenty of album sales to make up for it, but the fact that Michael Jackson and Madonna between them have as many million sellers as the Teletubbies is INSANE.
November 10, 201212 yr I wonder what the sales would be like had she released it this year, at the same time and had the same sales as the number 1's of this year at those points in the chart etc... 10 weeks at number one in today's sales era would be pushing two million, never mind one. And yet Kylie has two! Surely Kylie is one of the biggest pop stars of the past 25 years too? Not as big as Madonna and Michael, but definitely WAY up there?
