Kinda amazing how out of all the X-Factor acts who have released outside of the show, Olly Murs is the most consistantly successful. A fourth #1 for him looks very likely, and I imagine his third album will be his most successful yet.

You're right - funny how that has worked out. I thought he would have faded by now but seems to have found the right formula for now...

Olly is number 1

Yes :w00t: :w00t: Fantastic!!!! Hope he can maintain it throughout the week....

Olly and Girls Aloud would make a *.* top two. Troublemaker is Olly's best song to date (and that's not because of Flo Rida) and Something New is an amazing comeback, they certainly didn't disapoint after many years of waiting. And we've got Rudimental and Alicia Keys to add to the greatness (I do like the Nicki Minaj version more so sad to see that not on top even though it was inevitable with R1's playlisting of the no rap version)

Just in time...

Very fast and even before the x factor... he will sell 130k+ at least this week. He is the most sucsessful x factor ever in the UK.

Huge sales for Olly this week then - #1 before the XF performance just hope GA can get decent sales.

I can't believe Olly is 1. Really irritating.

I like him, just wish he wasn't up against GA. Don't really like Troublemaker though. Kind of by-the-numbers at this stage.

Something New EP has been number 1 for almost 12 hours solid now. Hopefully that can make up a bit of difference and stop GA from falling to 3 or 4 on the official chart on Sunday.

Seriously... I'm a GA fan but stop with your bullshit.

I'm starting to think they won't sell more than 110,000... and there I was thinking they could break Cheryl's Call My Name first week sales :(

Leona Lewis and JLS say :hi: I wouldn't call him the most sucessful ever, but he definiately is the most sucessful right now (in the UK, worldwide it is of course One Direction)

Damn Girls Aloud gonna be #2 this week, ANOTHER near miss for them adding to their long list of #2s and #3s

To me it doesn't sound #1.
