I haven't heard many of The Police or Sting singles, but I wouldn't imagine them to sound like Locked Out of Heaven! :P

Do people who say 'Little Things' 'sounds like an Ed Sheeran song' or 'rips off Ed Sheeran' not realise that this is because it IS an Ed Sheeran song? It was written by him.
Back in Black  25  Great to see this classic shooting up as well as Thunder Struck :D

I am aware that Little Things was written by Ed Sheeran, but it doesn't fully rip him off like Locked Out Of Heaven does towards Sting, it just merely sounds and is reminiscent of certain songs by Ed Sheeran.

This is my own opinion by the way - I'm not stating my thoughts as fact.

Somebody writing a song doesn't mean the song has to sound identical to them though, surely? Sia helped write Let Me Love You, but I don't imagine she'd ever release something like that as a solo single. So, to say it sounds just like an Ed Sheeran song, is still a fair point to make imo.

I'm happy & surprised too! ^_^

I still can't believe Back in Black wasn't UK top 40 at the time. Finally, justice is being done.

Since when was sounding a lot like a Police song somehow worse than sounding quite like an Ed Sheeran song?
One of the many things I love about Bruno as a pop artist is the fact that he never follows trends or jumps on bandwagons. He always has his own ideas and own visions. His first album proved that with being ballad heavy despite being released in an era where dance music was dominating. As a new artist, that's a courageous move.

Oh indeed, releasing an album full of mushy pop ballads with lyrics directly aimed at the insecure teenage girl market was an exceptionally risky move.

^ "Get It Over With" and "What Now" now the only tracks not present within the top 200. "Diamonds" should definitely be looking at holding on inside the top 10 this week, two versions in the top 40 (#13 and #34) and then the Kanye remix at #157.

WN is 109 ;)

Okay, that's fair enough but I still don't think you can say a song written by Ed Sheeran 'rips off Ed Sheeran'

'Back In Black' to #24 and they now have 3 tracks in the top 30 ('Highway To Hell' #36, 'You Shook Me All Night Long' #39).

Rudimental  to #11 and with PSY's Now! 83 version climbing ( #26) and the single version at #10, is it too much to hope for that the single version will have enough sales taken away for Rudimental to finally clip into the top 10? Probably.

Memories! Awful but a guilty pleasure. I know the group tried for Ireland in Eurovision 2001 and didn't get selected.

I can't get away with 'Locked Out Of Heaven', there's just something about it I don't like  My sister loves it though, so when she has the TV remote I have to listen to it.

Shame that 'A Thousand Years' didn't manage to get a bit higher, combined its now at #12 (I think) and not looking like top 10. Still, a new peak is very pleasing :cheer:

Adele - Skyfall is 10p (TEN PENCE) on Amazon, i presume that wont count towards sales for the official chart?

I was just coming on here to say the same thing! A song has to cost at least 40p doesn't it? I wonder why they are doing it?

Bizarre move by Amazon - Will it still not count though if Amazon are taking a loss on the song and still paying the dealer price for each download of 40p+?!

It's funny how the only song on the album that could fit that description is the lead single. I therefore assume you haven't actually listened to the album in its entirety and are just jumping to conclusions.

159. Lost - Frank Ocean

Any reason why this buried diamond is being exposed finally?

On the subject of AC/DC - as well as being added to iTunes for the first time, 'Back In Black' is currently being used in the adverts for Call of Duty, which may explain why it's their most successful of the songs added.
