As you can see in Emeli's chart run she has not left the top 10 once. The album is looking likely to return to #1 this week and with a TOTP performance it'll only stay high in the chart. So the question is how much life does the album have left? Will it outlast Adele's 70+ consecutive weeks in the top 10?

I predict April 2013. Low sales and BRITS (not confirmed but I'd be surprised if she didn't get a slot) should see her past the first quater.

I was going to comment about this soon as I noticed a while ago what an epic top 10 run she has had. I think May depending on how many decent new releases we get in Q1 next year.

Yeah, I'd say April too. Low sales of January and February will keep it Top 10, then an inevitable BRIT Awards performance (she'll probably win Album of the Year too), the physical release of Clown and hype from her concert at Royal Albert Hall will keep it going after that.

I see one "hilarious" goon has already voted for the 'Never' option.

Surely you have to ask why it was put as an option? :D

June, or something. Wouldn't be surprised if she ends up being comfortably higher than 21 is right now, next year. Honestly I should be happy she hasn't been more successful given how much she's been shoved down our throats. Adele didn't get a fraction of Emeli's promo.

It just makes me sad that I can't stand this woman any longer when I used to be so excited by her.

You never know, the Mayans could have been right! It'd be hard for her to leave the top 10 before Friday :P

New releases will eventually push her down, so I'd say April 2013. :D

Agree with this post entirely (although I said May). I thought she had so much potential to be amaze after 'Diamond Rings' and 'Never Be Your Woman' and with 'Heaven' she temporarily proved that right, then it just all went to boring ballads and ridiculous overhype :(

The options on most polls though are rubbish meaning people treat them as such - I mean why add 'Never' as an option in the first place, Its like when we have a poll about where the latest One Direction, X-Factor single etc, will chart and 'Will not chart' is given as an option.

I hope very soon, I'm so bored of her. She is a very good singer also live but a tad overrated by now. :kink:

From the statistic point of view I would say April os May, depends on the new releases. Voted in the end for April.

what's Adele's - 21 run? :kink:

Not to mention she's so obviously winning everything  Well at least two awards I'm sure.

Thanks :)

Didn't know that it has such a LONG top 10 run, rooting for Emeli to beat Adele's run :D

I say about April 2013, once the Brits/Mothers Day wear off.

Never. :D

(I actually put 'some time later in 2013', I think it could last until the Summer.)

I too would put around April/May 2013 as well after Brits and Mothers Day wores off. The album is AWFUL however..
Predicted February 2012 - though I reckon she'll still hold on in the T15 and re-enter following the BRITs/Royal Albert Hall DVD release. Could be wrong though, especially with the lack of contenders going around. Just feel some of the other albums will get better promotion (i.e. second singles from Robbie Williams, Olly Murs and Bruno Mars).

Well, if Adele could have such a long run inside the top 10 after selling 1 million in about 2 months (or however long it was) Emeli only needs to sell 20k per week and she's guaranteed a top 10 placing throughout 2013. Unless sales actually start to pick up but I doubt it will happen.

I reckon Emeli could spend another 6 months in the top 10 so voted Sometime later in 2013
