December 23, 201213 yr And fourth this year including Taio Cruz in January! I'm surprised anybody remembers that Taio Cruz song! It's one of the worst songs of the year imo, it was such a nasty shock when it went top 5 on its release week.
December 23, 201213 yr How can you say that? You don't know what the "rest of it's chart run" will look like yet, it's still in the Top 10 and won't be disappearing from the Top 40 for a little while yet. It's about the weeks around when it was number one. Just look at Gezza's thread on "non-number ones" - The Time (Dirty Bit) is a non-number despite being in the chart for a while.

December 23, 201213 yr Author Not only is troublemaker such a glorious pop song, it makes me smile because we had to endure weeks of 'but strictly gets the better ratings!!!!!!1111!!!1111 from Girls Aloud fans before release week. You might want to get that "1" key on your keyboard looked at- looks like it keeps sticking! :D
December 23, 201213 yr I wish people wouldn't say 'A billion people have watched this on youtube' because that assumes people have only ever watched it once each which just isn't true.
December 23, 201213 yr I'm surprised anybody remembers that Taio Cruz song! It's one of the worst songs of the year imo, it was such a nasty shock when it went top 5 on its release week. That was a dead week, loads of people were predicting it as a #1 contender so I wouldn't say it was a "shock". It is a totally unmemorable song (which I can't even remember how it goes), so I suppose it's not a shock it has been completely forgotten about.
December 23, 201213 yr Am I the only one who never did and still doesn't find this joke amusing? :puke:
December 23, 201213 yr Hopefully, this sticks around like IGAF did  Mega sales incoming, come on!!
December 23, 201213 yr I have a strong dislike for Gangnam Style, and the only thing that makes me feel better is that it only took up one week at #1. Although it feels like it's spent at least 10 weeks there, I'm so sick of it!
December 23, 201213 yr It's about the weeks around when it was number one. Just look at Gezza's thread on "non-number ones" - The Time (Dirty Bit) is a non-number despite being in the chart for a while. Absolute nonsense. Even if you recognise this stupid "Non Number 1" thing, that certainly wouldn't qualify, 8 weeks Top 10 (5 of them inside the Top 5), 25 weeks Top 75.
December 23, 201213 yr This stopped being funny a long long LONG time ago. I don't see what's so funny about it. Yeah, it's a joke song, but it's actually very catchy and it's great

It is a totally unmemorable song (which I can't even remember how it goes), so I suppose it's not a shock it has been completely forgotten about. Yeah, I guess. I had hardly heard it pre-release, and the music video only had like 50,000 views on Youtube at the time, and it's not like Taio Cruz has a fanbase either, so I wasn't expecting it to do well personally. Then funnily enough, I expected Hangover to be massive, and it wasn't. I should probably give up trying to predict anything about Taio Cruz songs tbh.
December 23, 201213 yr Gangnam Style. I have always loved this, I am currently loving this, and will always love this! :D
