December 23, 201213 yr I didn't say that. It is relative - xmas sales are usually higher than this, as were the sales in the summer. Exactly, summer 2013 will have even worse sales than that at the rate things are going. The fact that there were so many big albums released in the past 2 months and none of them did overly amazing apart from Olly and then a year old xmas album and 9 month old release have topped them says alot. Neil Diamond is the shock over performing xmas album this year then!!
December 23, 201213 yr Yeah, 178k is kind of crap for christmas week #1 album but it's to be expected when there's nothing major around. Still well done to her though. Glad to see Girls Aloud make a significant climb and Kylie hold up.
December 23, 201213 yr She might not do a video for Stay. In the US, Pour It Up, Loveeeeeee Song and Nobodies Business have all got considerable airplay (for album tracks), so one of those might have to be chosen as the single, and she'll probably only do a video for what the single in the US is. I'll be surprised if she goes for anything else over 'Stay' now.
December 23, 201213 yr I seriously hope James is #1. Probably the only time (except for Matt cos he had no competition) that I actually wanted to win a chart battle and get the Xmas #1. One of the best winners singles and better than the Justice Collective imo.

December 23, 201213 yr Really anticipating the first few chart weeks of 2013 now - "Scream & Shout", "Stay" and "I Knew You Were Trouble" should all attain/maintain top 3 placings.
