The David Bowie track was showing on my iPad and iPhone as 'Album Only' earlier - Its now showing as 99p next to the song, Maybe the record company want that #1 afterall!

The former isn't gonna happen now, even if it becomes chart-eligible. It would have needed to outsell S&S by 7-5 (40%) to make up for the 2 'lost' days, and it's never been that far ahead. Plus it's now in the red on Kworb, and being reeled in steadily...

In all the drama of Bowie, I hadn't noticed "Just One Last Time" by David Guetta re-entered the T100 and is now as high as #20. Such a great track, and in terms of dance music for 2013; I reckon this track and "Latch" have already started the trend (of slower-dance tracks).

 

Also, Emeli Sande's "Clown" up to #24; hopefully a re-peak for that this week/next week too!

 

Have people downloaded the four free tracks from iTunes this week: a Rudimental "Not Giving In" remix, Azealia Banks' "Liquorice", Haim's "Send Me Down" and Gabrielle Aplin's "Salvation".

I don't think it ever dropped out did it? I only ever saw it in the 60s/70s before it climbed :unsure:

It's probably in will.i.am's best interests that he does get #1 this week, I can see "I Knew You Were Trouble." catching up next week.

That's very exciting if it's true. To be honest, some of Timbaland's songs I've heard recently have been pretty average, but I'm sure he'll give his absolute best to Justin. I can't wait to hear it. Usher, Chris Brown and Justin Bieber better be scared! :lol:
