The new will.i.am track is really crawling up the iTunes Top 10.

 

I actually don't mind the Bieber bits on the chorus, but the backing on will.i.am's verses, which has essentially been lifted from Scream & Shout ruins the track.

 

 

Is anyone else having major trouble with LPB right now/lately? I'm used to it taking loads of refreshes to load the more obscure charts but I can't even get US iTunes up right now and that's usually the least glitchy chart. Having listened to '#thatPOWER' (Christ Almight at that title) I think it's a perfectly fine song (no 'Scream & Shout' but better than the two singles before it!) and I hope it's another top 10 for Will. Interesting that it's performing so much stronger off the bat than S&S did, I still find that bombing upon immediate release to be incredibly odd.

I think it's down to two things really 1- Justin Bieber is a MASSIVE name in the US and 2- The fact 'Scream & Shout' turned out to be a major hit for him, so people are possibly wanting to hear more from him. I don't get how 'If This Is Love' flopped so awfully though. It deserved to do so much better than it did.

 

'Suit & Tie' up to #1 - they deleted the single version.

#BuyTheWayOnItunes is top trend on Twitter, and from what I've seen her fans can be as rabid as Beliebers or Directioners so it's not surprising she's doing well!

I think Budtar entered Ariana to BJSC once so it's probably fair to assume she's crap and possibly associated with Disney and/or Nickelodeon. At least it's not just the UK suffering that with Bridgit now.

Ariana Grande is in one of the singing/dancing Disney shows (called Victorious) but she isn't even the lead actress in that :lol: But she does have a considerable fanbase so it's not surprising her song is doing well.
