 40. Droideka "Get Hyper"

Great to see these songs climbing :D Especially Get Hyper! Any reason for it suddenly going top 40? :o Other than the viral video that was popular a month ago.

I know, it was in my signature almost two months ago.

Get Hyper has been used for ages in KSI's videos, so I'm not surprised at all that this is so high seeing as it's just been released.

Oh yes, up to #36 now. :w00t:

It's going to be top 40 on sunday then. God bless that video.

its this, which has been doing pretty well all over Europe:

of course, its the foreign language versions of this have been doing well. This is available on iTunes, not doing much over here atm...what a shame :( :P

If you don't snigger at the line "there's a little cock" in that song, then you're a better person than me.

Just a slight possibility that the UK public won't take them seriously after 'Thrift Shop'.

I don't really think that will be a problem, as I doubt many people would have this after they listen to the message of the song, the only way they would have this is before they actually listen to it.

The Little Chick Cheep reminds me of Mignon Mignon from a few years ago.

Thanks, you just made me listen to that. Lobotomy please :/

As for Pulcino Pio I think it could actually be a (small) hit here if they redid the English lyrics or just promoted the Italian version. Schappi Das Kleine Krokodil charted here back in the day didn't it?

Didn't realise 'Let It Roll' had been reduced, I guess that explains it getting so far ahead of 'Forever Now'. Probably not gonna go top 10 now if 59p can't get it there but should at least be another top 20, which is normally what happens to him on just the second single from an era :P

'Welcome To The Black Parade' and 'Wherever You Will Go' (original) back in the top 100

Also in the top 200 at 79p:

33. Get Hyper - Droideka

81. Not a Saint (Radio Edit) - Vato Gonzalez, Lethal Bizzle & Donae'o

118. Need To Know (feat. Iman) - Wilkinson

122. Lighthouse - Mallory Knox

136. Rock and Roll Love Affair (Original Radio Edit) - Prince

143. Do You Hear the People Sing? - David Burt & Les Misérables OLC Ensemble

159. Levitate - Hadouken!

189. One Day / Reckoning Song (Wankelmut Remix) [Radio Edit] - Asaf Avidan & The Mojos

195. Believe - Cher

The 79p price tag slightly explains the likes of Droideka and Mallory Knox doing so well (well, the latter isn't exactly smashing, but doing well for what it is). Surprised to see Asaf still hanging around in the lower top 200!

48. Shadow Moses - Bring Me the Horizon

56. Because We Can - Bon Jovi

Surprised to see these two back in the top 100 after dropping out. Bring Me The Horizon could actually climb this week :o

'Dirrty' in the Top 100, I approve. Just love that song, easily in my Top 10 of all time, feisty!
I was listening to 'Euphoria' on my iPod today on the way back from work and I thought to myself, have they ever reduced that to 59p? If not, I do hope they reduce it the week of Eurovision, when she performs the song again! <3 Could, potentially see a return to the top 40 if that was to happen
They should have reduce 'I Wanna Go' could end in top 100, with all that hype around brit.i.am

That song really did not deserve to flop, considering some of the utter rubbish she's released which has sailed into the top 5. :(

^^ Yes to Euphoria and yes to I Wanna Go (been on Britney loon mode tonight).

Great to see Dirty Talk 59p and benefiting well from it. It's a shame Wynter will probably always be a one-hit wonder as her back catalogue so far is pretty much flawless, but what a song to be a one-hit wonder with tbh!

iTunes absolutely love putting 'Starry Eyed' at 59p, don't they? Makes me wonder how high 'Lights' would have gotten had that been 59p while it was at its peak in the US. Great to see 'Explosions' on the climb again, though seeing as Radio 1 didn't playlist it this week we can probably assume it's not going to be the third single.
Jon Bon Jovi was on The One Show earlier!

Not with Oli Sykes, I'd imagine.

I expected "Shadow Moses" never to be seen again, it'd be lovely to see BMTH in the top 40 even if I'm not a massive fan myself. Their new album will go top 5 at the very least.

Wynter sort of got another hit back in 2009. Sugar with Eiffel 65 Flo Rida.

Oh dear. I think that has rightfully been erased from my Wynter memory forever. :manson:

Wynter at least looks hot in the music video!

122. Lighthouse - Mallory Knox

Great song from their new album but am surprised its charting seeing as iTunes are giving it away free as their 'Single Of The Week' - People should look before they buy

And Kimberley Walsh not even Top 300 yet after a prime time TV performance?!
