It's not THAT bad. It's not exactly groundbreaking or anything, but it's just inoffensive, easy listening pop. It's nice.

I agree with you, Jonjo! It's quite a sweet song.

As sweet as it may be, it's not going to do anything in the charts!

I didn't expect them back so soon - go Cover Drive. :wub: It's too sweet to compete with their triumphs of Sparks and Twilight but it's very nice.

It's certainly no 'Explode'. Sounds like they're trying to make 'Twilight: Part 2' but ultimately failing. It's inoffensive, nice enough but nothing particularly special (and the "I'm always gonna be here rocking" bits sounds out of place/unneeded- oops).

I love Cover Drive and am baffled at their lack of success (on paper, a Bajan group with a Rihanna lookalike lead singer singing catchy pop songs is a winner) so I hope this does well.

It's nice, but not as catchy as Twilight.

Cheap video, although it's actually quite amazing (Inclusion of cakes etc :wub:)

 

I don't see this song doing anything in the slightest, it's obviously going to get snubbed by Radio1 and it's worrying that Capital haven't started playing it yet!

Awful video. They've clearly realised the song isn't going to do anything so just went and had a fun, silly video for it.

 

I hope it does well but it's far too simple of a song for people to love it. The chorus has got to be the most generic and repetitive thing I've heard in ages and this is coming from someone who bought their album, saw them live and even got a poster of them for my room. :lol:

 

Saying that, the intro is nice and uplifting and the verses aren't bad. It's just such a boring chorus!

 

(Capital probably aren't supporting it because they got dropped from their deal with Global FM after the album flopped, hence Explode never got played either)

You guys are overreacting a little. It's a good song and better than half of the top 40 at the moment.
