Pink close to no 2. I would say this could be a no 1 contender next week, but Justin has the album out so there will be multiple versions of Mirrors, so he will probably stay at no. 1

I just thought of that, Mirrors could actually get a 4th week on the back of his album.

I also just looked exactly 2 years ago Nicole was #1 with DHYB, prior to that Adele was #1 for 4 weeks on the back of the BRITs performance.

Wow! :o Such a good song, but where are people hearing it?

I agree with others that Mirrors might get another week at #1 with the album release week boost (and the more successful Mirrors is, the more other pop stars will want to collab with Timbaland again, so, fingers crossed...).. Also Suit & Tie might climb the chart too.

Out of interest, would Mirrors have been ineligible to chart all this time if the OCC hadn't changed the rules about album pre-order tracks being able to chart?

It would be really great if Pink could score her second #2 hit ever this week. I'd love for it to go to #1 but I somehow doubt it will.

I'm definitely for 'Mirrors' getting 4 weeks at #1 if it stops The Saturdays getting there. I wonder if 'Mirrors' could end up being a million seller? The official music video hasn't been released yet (although there's a montage of all his previous videos doing the rounds on the music channels in its place). Speaking of million sellers, I wonder if we'll end the year with a million seller... The ones in previous years have been released by now (SLY, STIUTK, CMM).

Glad these two are doing well! Shocked that 'Whoa' is so high though.

Love seeing Pink doing so well!

I'd love to see JT at #1 for a 4th week, whatever happens now is a bonus for Mirrors already done so well, I can see it having an incredible chart run.

As he said with Multiple version Mirrors should stay at the top :D

The Sats will no doubt debut highly before plummeting by the end of the week - like all their singles

You should probably take something for that cough

Multiple versions are irrelevant - by a week Sunday, Timborelake won't be selling over 50k.

his record label have decided to take his EP off iTunes and just have this available as a single

Since when were multiple versions irrelevant?! It'll most definitely get a sales boost thanks to multiple versions. His sales for his first week at number 1 were helped by the Brits performance being released, I'm sure MW even stated in their article that it helped him tie up the number 1..

That's a first :o JT is far from boring!

I agree with Jonjo as well, multiple versions aren't irrelevant..however Mirrors isn't a single version, it's the album version from the pre-order deluxe ed, so I guess there will only be one other version which is on the standard ed of The 20/20 Experience?

He is boring to me as well I'm afraid, but at least it's better than the likes of "Thrift Shop" and "Harlem Shake"

If the single version and the album version are exactly the same, then the multiple versions *should* be irrelevant but it seems that there is alwaya at least a small benefit to a single when an album is released

Dido's single last week got a notable boost because her album got released.

And I remember Do It Like a Dude by Jessie J re-entering the top 10 because of her album release.

This is probably the best iTunes top 3 of the year so far in my opinion. 3 of the 4 best songs in the top 10 are at the top. :D Shame 'White Noise' can't reclimb drastically. :P

That's not the same, because the Brits performance actually is DIFFERENT to the standard version of 'Mirrors' -- so it's feasible that people who already had the standard version would also want the live version as well. But there's no logical reason whatsoever why having two identical versions of a song (a "single" version and an "album" version that are exactly the same) would produce higher sales than just one version - why would someone want to buy a second version that's exactly the same as the one they already have? I know songs often climb on the week of an album release, but I think that's usually because the artist is promoting and thus getting the song extra exposure (and I don't think JT is promoting here next week is he?), rather than it being down to "multiple versions".

(With that said, if a radio edit of 'Mirrors' is released, then that possibly WOULD mean higher sales, because it's possible that there'd be people who haven't bought the extra-long version and only want a shorter version -- but if the album version of the song is exactly the same as the one that's already on iTunes then there won't be any boost.)

Funnily enough, I couldn't stand EE until I heard Duet, then it made me reevaluate the band's entire catalog. I hope it's a massive hit, although I can't necessarily see that happening.

Pop Justice are blocking and reporting people who say such things about the wonderful Justin on Twitter. Just saying
