My Top Ten

There are acts that may have 2 or more personal favourites of mine, but for diversity reasons I have limited it to one act per performance

10. Cher Lloyd - Stay (series 8)

I loved Cher on her first audition,

I thought she was brilliantly unique

and fresh. Not much a of a fan now,

yet this dark performance remains a

standout from that series.

09. Miss Frank - That's Life (series 6)

I really, really liked the big personalities

and soul-full-ness of these girls. They

were unique and had a gap in the market.

Shame the spotlight hit an inferior pop girl group.

08. Laura White - Somebody Else's Guy (series 5)

Amazing, powerful voice with a jazzy, graspy tone.

Laura was incredible and I'm secretly glad she left

early as she was a massive threat to my fave;

Alexandra

07. Matt Cardle - The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face (series 7)

The only male contestant on the list. Just unbelievable

vocals. It was eerie and made everyone shut up and listen.

Love the soft tone and that build up to that high note!

06. Ella Henderson - Loving You (series 9)

Wasn't really a massive fan of Ella last year, but

something about this performance struck me.

That head voice though! NOM.

05. Kitty Brucknell - Who Wants To Live Forever (series 8)

I found this performance mesmerizing, with the

guitar and set-up. I was torn between this and

"It's Oh So Quiet", but for me Kitty was (almost)

the best contestant of that series.

04. Diana Vickers - With Or Without You (series 5)

Beautifully sung with such a sweet, distinct tone

to her voice. It's just relaxing and mellow and

wonderful cover. Janet who?

03. Amelia Lily - The Show Must Go On (series 8)

Brilliant comeback from Amelia. She was the

best contestant by far in the competition that series.

Love the longevity of that last note. Was torn between

this and "Think".

02. Alexandra Burke - Listen (series 5)

The best X Factor contestant across all series, ever!.

This was her knockout performance with loads of emotion.

Yes she's my favourite ever person but she just misses the

top by this much "..". Ok.com

01. Ruth Lorenzo - Knocking On Heaven's Door (series 5)

Yes Purple Rain was shamazing. BUT THIS.. OMG. Absolute

number one performance that will probably never be beaten.

The simple power and rocky edge and facial expressions, and

those bwbs!o.O.. World class performance and it's a shame we

don't hear from her now.

How about you, what's your top ten? :)

7. One Direction - Nobody Knows

Absolute AWFUL cover. They ruined an incredible song and really showed how weak their voices are.

Oh I could go on for AGES on this topic

01 Little Mix - Don't Let Go

02 Cher Lloyd - Stay

03 Rebecca Ferguson - Teardrops

04 Stacey Solomon - Who Wants To Live Forever?

07 Little Mix - E.T.

08 Amelia Lily - The Show Must Go On

09 Rebecca Ferguson - Show Me Love

I was contemplating these two but I think it's more the song than the performance. Love Rebecca though!

Absolute AWFUL cover. They ruined an incredible song and really showed how weak their voices are.

They were just starting out back then, and it was rather good given how young (in terms of the age of One Direction) they were at the time. Nowhere near as good as the original, though. :P

Laura White was awfully overrated. Bleh.

Anyway from memory:

01. Leona Lewis | 'I Will Always Love You' (final) >> Pretty much every performance from her. But I'll limit it to just one Lol. <<

02. Ruth Lorenzo | 'Purple Rain'

03. Cher Lloyd | 'Stay' >> See Leona. I loved every performance of her (bar LTWYL) for completely different reasons, each time. <<

04. Little Mix | 'Don't Let Go (Love)'

05. Diana Vickers | 'Man In the Mirror'

I actually cannot think properly so you can have a top 5 for now.

Mad World by Aiden

Rule the world By Ella

Falling by Laura White

Don't let go by Little Mix

Nights in white satin by Matt Cardle

Will make it 10 soon. My memory is rubbish.

Nothing will ever beat -

Leona Lewis - Summertime

If it is the top 10 then, and not including the Alexandra & Beyonce duet:

1. Laura White - Fallin'

2. Leona Lewis - Summertime

3. Laura White - God Bless The Child

4. Leona Lewis - I Will Always Love You

5. Matt Cardle - Nights In White Satin

6. Alexandra Burke - Listen (without Bey)

7. Misha B - Rolling In The Deep

8. Rebecca Ferguson - Wicked Game

9. Laura White - Somebody Else's Guy

10. Little Mix - Don't Let Go (Love)

Cher Lloyd's performances were flawless until that Judges' House performance. :(

Apart from that, some of Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke's performances were beautiful. Some of Shayne Ward and James Arthur's performances were brilliant as well. :D

And that's all I've really got to say. :P

Alexandra Burke's Unbreak My Heart, Toxic and Listen with Bey were flawless

Really liked Ruth's Purple Rain and Little Mix's take on E.T.

Oh yes, how could I forget Little Mix's version of ET?!

05. Matt Cardle Feat Rihanna - Unfaithful

06. Beyonce feat Flopandra - Listen

07. Aiden - Mad World

08. Diana Vickers - With Or Without You

1. Carolynne Poole - There You'll Be

She totally BUTCHERED that song, horrible, vile performance.

Omg, Kitty's Sweet Dreams *.* Also forgot Ella's Loving You from this year!

And I agree with Draper Dudee, 1D's cover of Nobody Knows was diabolical, but then they also absolutely CRUCIFIED my dear Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck Without You as well as Total Eclipse Of The Heart and most other things they sang

01. Same Difference - Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now

02. Stacey Solomon - Who Wants To Live Forever

03. Rachel Hylton - And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going

04. Alexandra/Beyonce - Listen

07. Misha B - Rolling In The Deep

08. Little Mix - Don't Let Go

Diana Vickers - Man in the Mirror, Call Me

Ruth Lorenzo - Purple Rain

Stacey Solomon - Who Wants To Live Forever
