February 28, 201411 yr Since when did Aiden have a career to commit suicide with by entering Eurovision????
February 28, 201411 yr Author Someone tweeted this: So a BBC Introducing artist is representing the UK at Eurovision... @laurenaquilina is it you?!?! and Lauren Aquilina replies: yes Surely she wouldn't be allowed to say it, but maybe it is her?
February 28, 201411 yr It is not Lauren: https://twitter.com/laurenaquilina/status/439477276758269952
February 28, 201411 yr Obviously we'll forget Josh Dubovie happened (that was down to the song largely, but it didn't help that he was shit either) but Jade was obviously an unknown and she came 5th! I know that was hardly an impressive song but still. Personally I loved It's My Time but it was pretty much a standard ballad. An unknown is wonderful, it makes us look even more of a joke if we sent an old act who hasn't had anything resembling a career for years, so we really couldn't do that for the third time in a row!
March 2, 201411 yr So, amazon has announced this as the UK's entry. Dunno how true it is: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wild-Thing-Eurovis...keywords=roubix
March 2, 201411 yr It's now tagged (Eurovision 2014) on iTunes as well. http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r82/eastripper/ESCUK_zps017e160a.jpg
March 2, 201411 yr I think it's fake. That song's been floating around on Youtube for quite some time now. It's just something whipped up by a bedroom producer in FL Studio.
March 2, 201411 yr That definitely sounds like the most bizarre entry we've had in a while if it's true! But it could work in our favour, it could not. Hmm... I'll wait for official confirmation obviously but from the clip, I hate it!
March 2, 201411 yr Reading further into it, it seems that this guy started the rumours himself (and must have uploaded the song onto MP3 sites with the Eurovision tag just to get more sales).
March 2, 201411 yr I hate the fact that the BBC in recent years do nothing to promote the artist or song as is happening this year - Surely they could launch the song on a TV show rather than via iPlayer?! If artists were guaranteed decent BBC exposure it might get more artists or at least song writers on board - The fact that hardly anyone apart from those of us with a ESC interest will even know that a song has been chosen - Hardly a great springboard for an artist launching their career!
March 2, 201411 yr Author Keith Mills is saying on Twitter that it is Holly Drummond. She's a Scottish singer/songwriter and an EDM vocalist according to her Twitter, so it fits all the clues we've had so far.

There's a clip of her singing engelberts UK entry on YouTube with a guitar...surprised she is in the dance music world considering she looks like a folk singer! yes I think it's all pieces together that this is our entry!

March 2, 201411 yr Here she is singing a dance song from a couple of years ago. She seems like a great, very versatile artist: ZbQS_QeWHLc
