New Slaves is highest in the US. These songs probably won't chart very well since they're released on a Tuesday. It feels like Kanye never releases anything at the start of the chart week. :drama: :lol:

I'm not sure why iTunes has removed the features from most of Kanye's song (except the BIGGEST GODLY one of course). It's not possible but it would be quite a moment if I Am A God somehow managed to get top 40 by Sunday or at least top 100 so it can set a new record for the oldest artist (ever) to enter the chart ~

 

Good to see Bound 2 doing quite well as i would have thought that would have been the least popular for some reason. And New Slaves needs to smash so i hope he's planning a video for it and at least attempts to send it to radio!

Black Skinhead (or indeed anything from Yeezus) is hardly a radio-friendly song so I very much doubt that. Plus didn't Kanye say there won't be singles or stuff going to radio?

Alot of the GOOD Music album wasnt released officially as single but Clique just did well.

 

Id say if its popular radio 1 might playlist something off it. At any rate the evening shows will be flat out playing the album!

Good to see Black Skinhead out in front of the 'Yeezus' songs, presumably down to the SNL performance. I know Kanye's said he doesn't want any singles from this album but I think this could make the top 40 with Radio 1 support!

I don't know. I can hardly think of any times where Radio 1 playlisted an album track before. There was Someone Like You, but that's because it was at #1 in the chart lol.

 

I don't know if Radio 1 even pay attention to what's popular sometimes, because they have some strange playlist choices. Like Adorn by Miguel which is popular didn't get playlisted but I saw them playlist Do You... which nobody knows, and from A$AP Rocky's album f***in' Problems is by far more well-known, but they playlisted Wild For the Night, and from the GOOD Music album they playlisted Clique rather than Mercy (although Mercy did get playlisted after like 9 months). And from Drake's album they playlisted loads of songs, but didn't playlist The Motto which was the biggest song from the album.

 

To be honest, even now it's not clear which songs from this album are going to be popular, if any. Like Lift Off was the most downloaded song from Watch the Throne on album release week, but I haven't heard that song anywhere in absolutely ages.

I think F**kin Problem was playlisted last summer but maybe only on the INMWT list not as a main single. I thought he just released other singles in the uk.

 

Im pretty sure loads of album tracks have been playlisted which have become popular so the artist or the record company decide to release it like Explosions by Ellie Goulding!
