The Power was a bit of a fiasco really, as it ruined both of DJ Fresh's and Dizzee's #1 streaks. The song wasn't that good, but I thought it would go #1 based on the artists. Dizzee has two songs in the top 10 at the same time for the first time since 2010 though.

I wonder if Tom Odell could go top 10. It seems to be rising slowly but consistently. Great that they're putting someting decent out after the dreadful Hold Me.

I think Bre and Jahq were telling me that Maroon 5 still spent several weeks top 10 despite the tribute version reaching iTunes #3 when I asked the other week, so I don't think Icona Pop will lose that many sales.

1-2-1-2-2-2-4-6-12 started falling away, at the time if I remember rightly we thought it could return to #1 for a 3rd time. Florence ended having 3 weeks at #1 with Spectrum.

I heard it in a club a couple of weeks ago, and some people seemed to know it when it came on. Whilst with some pop songs it's not until quite a while after release that I ever hear them (and many I never hear at all).

16. Tom Odell - Another Love - easily the best thing he's put his name too. Got super bored of the EP (and the now horrific Hold Me) a while back, but i still love this.

It was on one of his EP's that got released at the back end of last year as I downloaded it then. It was on the R1 playlist about then too as he was in the Sound of 2013. It looks to be re-issued this week to me.

I wonder are Capital making 'Crazy Kids' 'Tonight I'm Getting Over You' part 2? Capital airplay is the only thing I imagine would explain the surge.

'Crazy Kids' is being played loads on 4Music, but I doubt that can be the only reason for such a climb! :kink:

Ke$ha's airplay is abyssmal. It isn't in the top 1500 and has less than 1mil AI. Its TV play is quite good though, with over 300 plays in the last week. I think that's the main reason for its increase. Glad to see it increasing despite lacking radio play.

I definitely think it's because of the will.i.am feature. Whether we like to admit it or not, he is a bit of a big name atm (especially at the moment with his The Voice connection). Had it been the solo Ke$ha version, I doubt it would have touched the top 500. Smart move on her part though.
