August 26, 201311 yr That's a great video, really goes with the song! Would enjoy it a little more though if they didn't just shove Frankie in the van at the start, and have her in positions where the bump is not visible at all.
August 26, 201311 yr Frankie giving the roller blades out in the 80s is so cute haha! I love the video
August 26, 201311 yr I have to wonder why the video is blocked for us people here in the US/Canada. There goes their views... oh well. Anyways I love it. It's really cute.
August 26, 201311 yr The video is now available worldwide Not sure why they waited, but that's good news. Now that I can finally watch it in HQ I can form a real opinion: 1. I love the first scene. The clip played at the beginning sounds like an album track but a good song nonetheless so I'm looking forward to it. Vanessa looks the best she's ever looked and I continue to like her more and more with each release. Mollie and Una are perfect as usual. Rochelle is just there for me and Frankie is alright I guess considering she's been locked up in the van with the windows rolled down like a dog in the summer. I still think Frankie can be heard during the chorus but her voice blends well with Vanessa's. 2. The second scene is alright. The concept is great but it comes off as a bit cheap. I'd say Vanessa pulls off the 80s look the best. I do appreciate the Moluna moments though. Rochelle and Frankie look awful. 3. I like the final scene too. I wish they showed Frankie a bit more as she looks almost exactly like she did in S Club and it's quite amusing. Mollie and Vanessa's hair  Assuming radio picks this up like it should, I see this entering Top 3. I'll guess #2 for now, until we know what else is coming out that week.
August 26, 201311 yr Not sure why they waited, but that's good news. Now that I can finally watch it in HQ I can form a real opinion: 1. I love the first scene. The clip played at the beginning sounds like an album track but a good song nonetheless so I'm looking forward to it. The first clip is 'On The Radio' and it was a Donna Summer hit around 1979 I think. But I'm not even sure that sounds like her or not. (It was covered by Martine McCutcheon in 2001) The video is exactly what was needed for the song! It's very fun and in a few scenes you can see the girls really enjoying themselves. But HOLD THE LINE! Vanessa looked extremely good in the 1979 scene! The best I've ever seen her!
August 27, 201311 yr It's their cover of it, they've done it for one of the b-sides ^_^Ah yes! I remember reading that now. Makes sense as it does actually sound more like them than it does Donna.
August 27, 201311 yr Just hearing this now and I do quite like it, but not quite loving it yet. Definitely feels like more of a grower than Gentleman which I still hate. The chorus is great, but the verses are a bit of a non-entity really. Not one of their best, but a definite improvement on Gentleman.
August 27, 201311 yr So GOOD. For me this is their best from this era  and the video fits it perfectly. I hope this gets them another top 10 ^_^ Edited August 27, 201311 yr by Rob!
August 27, 201311 yr Album: Disco Love #174 New Zealand #179 United Kingdom #182 Denmark Might be on track for another New Zealand charting with this. :D
August 27, 201311 yr Disco Love is not even top 1500 on iTunes. The EP pre-order is doing fine, though.
August 27, 201311 yr The EP pre-order is doing fine, though. #180 is not really that good considered the video premiered two days ago, the single should be top 1500 at least! It's surprising that Vevo aren't even advertising ' Disco Love '.
August 27, 201311 yr Disco Love is not even top 1500 on iTunes. Considering there will be no radio airplay and TV airplay will only just be starting, it is to be expected. Only the fanbase will have seen the video, and they will be the same people who will have pre-ordered it when it was first made available. I'm sure it'll be in the top 1500 within the next couple of weeks!
