I love this and the lyric video genuinely looks like a conversation between me and my housemate on Whatsapp. HA. :wub:

It's weird how there's no teassrs for the video yet...

 

If I were katy I'd have had teasers out a week ago, perform at the VMA's, premier the video there and on VeVo and watch Roar rising to #1!

In that way she'd have full advantage of her sales boost from the VMA's and video and of course big streaming numbers

That performance was BRILLIANT. Properly loved it! The video looks like it's going to be pretty special too!
Initially i was on the fence with roar but i had a sense it was a grower and how right i was, i am loving the track at the moment and think it will be huge.
September 1st is it's release date now, been pushed forward a week, and now sits at #20 on pre-orders, in the iTunes chart. :D
Announced via her twitter, the video will be released 5th September! If this is being released on 1st, that should be the perfect date to prem the video as it would probably start falling/other tracks start gaining on her by that date. Then music channels can get it in full rotation over the weekend setting her up for a victory 2nd week against Eminem! EXCITING.
I hope this sells bucketloads, I really hope it'll beat Avicii's first week total somehow but I know it won't. :(

Really can't wait to download this from Sunday! I have pre-ordered it and for ONCE I have refrained from downloading it illegally and only gone back to the youtube lyric video whenever I've wanted to listen to it.

 

So pumped for the video too! I can't believe how strong this era seems so far.
