August 11, 201313 yr I think it's not a sample, JT resung it. There's a difference. If we're going to be pedantic, I'm not a fan of the lyrics being recycled into 'Holy Grail'. -- On another note, glad to see 'Summertime Sadness' doing well.
August 11, 201313 yr Lol at JT thinking he should be the one to resing a Nirvana classic. Thinking bout You is great, much better than the unbearably bad I Need Your Love. Did that song mean anything? Well the answer's no but ya know.

August 11, 201313 yr Damn it! Why couldn't the 2nd week at 2 in the chart run be a 5  Really like this still! Edited August 11, 201313 yr by Envoirment
August 11, 201313 yr Album sales clearly not at an all-time high if The Civil Wars hung onto the top 2 there  Good for them I guess, not familiar with their work but Wikipedia describes them as 'folk' rather than 'country' so they're probably on the better side of Americana. Didn't realise Imagine Dragons were on course for a top 3 re-entry, woo for them! Richard & Adam could even get a 3rd week at #1 next week with once again bugger all in the way of new releases.
August 11, 201313 yr Richard & Adam could even get a 3rd week at #1 next week with once again bugger all in the way of new releases. I think White Lies will do it, they did get a #1 album on weak sales before.
August 11, 201313 yr Top 40 Albums http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chart/albums AlunaGeorge out the top 40 already, jesus christ 'Body Music' performed shockingly.

August 11, 201313 yr 'Blurred Lines' keeps growing on me, but I find it hard to distinguish Robin Thick from Pharrell Williams in it!
August 11, 201313 yr 11 weeks top 5  It hasn't burned on me yet. Happy that Robin has had some HUGE success in the UK recently. :D Edited August 11, 201313 yr by Envoirment
August 11, 201313 yr 'Blurred Lines' keeps growing on me, but I find it hard to distinguish Robin Thick from Pharrell Williams in it! Pharrell only does the "everybody get up" and the "blurred lines" part.
August 11, 201313 yr Pharrell only does the "everybody get up" and the "blurred lines" part. And the "whooo" parts

August 11, 201313 yr Pharrell only does the "everybody get up" and the "blurred lines" part. Ah, that makes sense, thank you. :P -- Summertime Sadness. I never thought Lana would get a top 5 hit so I'm really happy she has (even if it was only due to the remix!)
August 11, 201313 yr She should just capitalise on this and release a remix album. Can't get enough of it and thrilled it's become a hit
