August 11, 201313 yr I'm really glad for Lana finally getting in the top 5, but I still think this remix feels very standard, It's certainly no Spectrum. Edited August 11, 201313 yr by Chez Wombat

August 11, 201313 yr Until the pre-order started to tear up the chart again towards the latter end of last week I was starting to think this was gonna be low top 5 at best so HOORAY at another top 3 for what is really not that commercial a song. Can't wait to hear more from Tinie this era (the Mvula collab sounds interesting to say the least).
August 11, 201313 yr She should just capitalise on this and release a remix album. Can't get enough of it and thrilled it's become a hit  I think there is a CD of remixes in the deluxe box set of her album. It includes: Video Games (Jay Orbisan Remix) Video Games (Omid 16 B Remix) Born To Die (Moodymann Remix) Born To Die (Gemini Remix) Blue Jeans (Gesaffelstein Remix) Blue Jeans (Penguin Prison Remix) National Anthem (Fred Falke Remix Edit) National Anthem (Tensnake Remix) But I agree, a dedicated remix album would be great  --- I find 'Trampoline' atrocious, completely unlistenable. I loved his previous material. The rap verses and production is okay but the chorus is just bad IMO.
August 11, 201313 yr National Anthem (Tensnake Remix) I need to hear this! :o On paper that sounds potentially amazing.
August 11, 201313 yr Every time Tinie gets yet another hit I just remember marrb saying when 'Pass Out' came out that he'd be a one hit wonder. 8 top 5s and another top 10 already is amazing. Tinie has to be my favourite UK rapper, his lyrics are always great.
August 11, 201313 yr I'm really glad for Lana finally getting in the top 5, but I still think this remix feels very standard, It's certainly no Spectrum. Spectrum was very formulaic. It was the I'm Not Alone riff with Florence's vocals over the top.

(Even though it's been obvious for ages she'd get #1) Avicii's album thankfully seems to have no hashtag on it after all, updated that on the recap.
August 11, 201313 yr Oh not a very good number 1 for me. Wished Avicii stayed there but it was not going to happen :(
August 11, 201313 yr I really love 'Wake Me Up' and would have preferred to keep 'We Can't Stop' off the top. Not a fan of that creepy low voice at the start and I find it a little tacky, though to be fair, her vocals remind me of Nicole Scherzinger's in 'Right There' which is a good thing, and I am glad Miley has her first top 10 song. Shame it's with her worst IMO. I like 'See You Again', 'Fly On The Wall' and 'Party In The USA' a lot more and wish they went top 10!
August 11, 201313 yr Shame Avicii had to be knocked off the No 1 spot by such vile trash. :manson:
