Old thread hit 50 pages so time for a new one!

The Travis album seems to have been released a day early and is at #40 and #54. Not much of note this week but the release schedule looks like perking up a bit in coming weeks.

That's really good considering it isn't reelased for another month and the 2nd single has just startd impacting. :cheer:

Hope Paramore will keep climbing. Currently at #28 with their latest album. The "Ain't It Fun" video will help it out some more too, when it drops. :)

Pop chart again?! Really Ryan? :(

Also, would love Zola to do something. I've not heard this album yet, but I'm sure it'll be good enough!

It took a full 3 minutes for Ryan to poison this thread with pop chart updates. :(
I just thought it would be nice to start off the thread with a pop chart update that I know everybody loves!
I wonder how Drenge's album will do, about 7 albums i'm looking forward to hearing ,the Steely Dan album isn't new to itunes I think, been around for a little bit digitally wise but physical release on Monday

And welcome back, Liam, hope you had a nice holiday/birthday

Kings of Leon vs. Jessie J in a few weeks could be fun, I take it Alive isn't up for pre-order yet?
Decent selling albums in the coming weeks - Naughty Boy, London Grammar, Jessie J, Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys and the 1975!!

Thank you, yes I did. Wish I was back there at the moment since it is very cloudy where I am!

Woop, looking forward to Hotel Cabana slaying the top 10! :kink:

Agreed! Can we hear any of the album yet (aside from the single of course)?

Welcome back Liam, sorry for usurping your thread! :P

Looks like the Zola Jesus album isn't out until tomorrow for some reason - moved into 'coming soon' on the new release schedule but I've kept it in the first post as it's still out this week.

John Mayer still looking fairly set for #1, failing that it'll probably be Richard & Adam yet again. Tired Pony (Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody's 'country-tinged' side project with a bunch of other famous musicians, in case anyone was wondering) should manage a top 10, their debut album in 2010 reached #17.

Surprised at how poorly Little Green Cars are doing so far on iTunes, are they really that unpopular outside of Ireland or are they just heavily physical based?

Is Jessie J just trying to not get a #1 album? She doesn't stand a chance against KOL surely. (I'm more than happy for her to continue this of course :P)

16. District3 - District3 EP

Surprised to see this so high! :o They need to start working on a full album, though. :kink:

Little Green Cars were pretty low on (physical) Amazon sales last time I checked. Either they're going to sell a lot through their own website or something, or they're not actually that famous in the UK. I tend to suspect the latter.
Reading festival starts this Friday, just depends who is performing, not sure if Rudimental/Imagine Dragons are performing this weekend, so really the #1 album can be wide open. It really depends how much of an effect it will have by the end of Saturday trading.
Welcome back Liam, sorry for usurping your thread! :P

Thanks! Hm, I won't hold it against you. ;)

Earl Sweatshirt's Doris has suddenly leaped up to #3 (best selling artist album), although I doubt he'll be a big contender for number one in the official chart - will probably go to Richard & Adam again or one of the Reading and Leads acts.
