I saw them at Reading and couldn't get near the tent, as soon as they'd played 'Chocolate' I could get well inside as about a third of the people inside it left as they'd heard the one song they knew!

Really? At Leeds people pretty much everyone stayed until the end (maybe because they played "Sex" straight after) and a load near me knew everything they played. "Girls" sounds like a potential single.

I kinda hope Katy releases next week, otherwise Burn will get a fourth week at #1 by default when it really doesn't feel like it's that big. (Don't get me wrong I do like Burn)

I like Burn as well, I do get a sense that a 4th week might happen, for some reason I wouldn't mind it. As the weekly #1 is going to appear further down the line later in the year.

Summer 2010, some of my favourite weeks of summer ever that year and some of the worst.

What was #2 and dared challenge the iconic California Gurls?

Wasn't it 'Airplanes' or 'Shout'?

2010 was quite a big year for music. Eminem, Rihanna, GaGa, Katy, B.O.B, Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys, Ke$ha, The Wanted, JLS, The Script, Usher, Tinie Tempah, Cee Lo Green, David Guetta, Olly Murs, Jason Derulo, Plan B, Professor Green, Taio Cruz, Alexandra Burke, Cheryl Cole, Black Eyed Peas...all different artists either debuting or smashing the charts that year in the UK with so many huge singles being released. 2011 and 2012 were awful in comparison.

Shane already down to #41, this is gonna need huge EP and physical sales to get a top 20 position.

I saw them in Belfast playing to 16 people in December, and now their next gig in Belfast is sold out.

Macklemore  to 25.

This is doing so well, I think it's the type of song where even minimum exposure would boost its iTunes position. Really happy this is finally taking off!

"Same Love" to #20 & #537!

"Counting Stars" #15 too!

"Adorn" #60 & #135*. Might just make the top 40!

Leona Lewis "Run" to #92 as well! :cheer: Back into the top 100. :D

* Jessie Ware version.

Should make the T40 this week now with EP sales added on. If this couldn't make the T40 easily I'm not sure what else on the album will; "Pompeii" and its #2 looking to forever be a blip in their discography.

I was hoping the Bastille/Naughty Boy collaboration was going to be a hit but its being given away free on iTunes now!

Morning update: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...t&p=4427833

59p songs in the top 100:

 12 Naughty Boy feat. Emeli Sandé - Lifted

 15 OneRepublic - Counting Stars

 26 Imagine Dragons - It's Time

:ne: 35 Eminem - Lose Yourself

:ne: 39 Kanye West feat. Jamie Foxx - Gold Digger

 41 Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars

 45 Vanessa Carlton - A Thousand Miles

 51 Rudimental feat. John Newman - Feel The Love

:ne: 52 Florence + The Machine - You've Got The Love

 62 Coldplay - Paradise

 67 Alex Clare - Too Close

 73 Keane - Somewhere Only We Know

:ne: 76 MGMT - Kids

:ne: 77 La Roux - In For The Kill

:re: 91 Leona Lewis - Run

:re: 93 Birdy - Skinny Love

:ne: 94 Eagle-Eye Cherry - Save Tonight

Lose Yourself and Gold Digger would be very welcome re-additions to the top 40  I wouldn't mind Chasing Cars doing it as well, we haven't seen that in the upper end of the charts for a few years (and I want to see Bre's reaction :kink:)

lol they always discount Lose Yourself and Gold Digger. Not complaining though.

I can think of a few songs that became massive chart hits after being given away for free. I think it might help, if anything.

I saw the music video to this. It's rather messy and chaotic, the Blurred Lines video was better since it was more simple. I hope it does well though.

Florida Georgia Line/Nelly - Cruise, reduced to 59p probably too late to have much of an impact now though?

One of the radio 1 djs has this as record of the week on his show so could get playlisted there eventually?
