It's not his life at stake in the slightest, isn't he like 16? Most of the others weren't crying constantly though, I'm sure it meant a lot to all of them. I hate the ones who are ridiculously emotionally affected by it, Joseph is also unbelievably irritating for his blubbering. He's not a TERRIBLE singer, but he is 60% flat and riding through largely on his 'boyish good looks'.

In all fairness you've already hated on numerous people this series so far with all sorts of inflammatory words when they really haven't done anything offensive at all so you can surely understand why some people wouldn't like Giles who is one of the more ~controversial~ contestants left. Not saying there's anything wrong either way but everyone will have their own reasons for disliking contestants.

It's just irritating, personality is quite a huge factor in whether you like someone (aswell as vocals, which I have also labelled as being very questionable). He's just extremely annoying and that really is the bottom line for mine and many others hatred (a lot of my friends have posted similar songs about wanting him to f*** off on social media tonight). Nicholas is a similar age and doesn't come across anywhere near as annoying, so it's not even an age thing.

 

I understand people being emotional, but to watch on TV, it's very grating and annoying to watch - all the other 5 contestants who got seats weren't reacting in a similar manner, and everything you just stated applies to them too.

I can actually see Louis choosing Giles, Nicholas and Luke :manson: That would potentially be the worst category ever.

Boys: Sam, Paul, don't like any of the others remotely

Groups: Miss Dynamix, Brick City, Xyra

Overs: Sam, Lorna, Zoe

Groups The groups don't seem to be up to much overall. I think the three I picked above all have "the look", but none are vocally tight. Hopefully they start impressing me at judges' houses.

 

Over 25s Some good ones in there. However, I really cannot stand Joseph Whelan! The X Factor are desperately trying to push him on us and make us love him... I don't understand why. However, out of every contestant remaining, I just know he's a dead cert for the live shows. <_< Shelley has a good voice, and I wouldn't mind if she made it through, but her personality is a bit grating.

 

Girls Quite a strong category. Although I left her off the Girls list, I'd be happy if Relley Clark got through.

 

Boys The weakest category. There's talent, but I feel like none of these guys have the overall package. I was really hard pushed to choose 3 names... but Paul & Nicholas are the best singers by a long way, out of these six. Alejandro robbed!

The girls are really strong every year, but the problem with them is a lot of them don't have the likeability factor, and the ability to connect with the audience. Leona really set the bar so high for the girls, and it's no surprise so many girls gave struggled since. A lot of them really look very similar aswell which never helps.

 

I hate Kingsland. Absolute shoe-in for the lives, but I don't think they'll do too well. The boys are all pretty wet, and the overs the same. Could be a drab year again for talent.

That Luke Friend is a MESS.

UGH Joseph Whelan is so :mellow: His reaction to Gary naming him was OTT. He really doesn't belong there. Weak.
