'Unconditionally' • Second Single

Billboard are reporting that this is the 2nd single! It's produced by Circuit and is a 'tribal power ballad'.

"It's a love song and it's different from 'Roar' — it's not eighth-notey," Perry said. "And I think it's a universal love song that everyone's going to be able to relate to no matter the age, no matter male or female. It's my favorite song off the record."

The power ballad "Unconditionally," Perry's current favorite, is also destined to become "the wedding song of 2014" -- or so Capitol EVP Greg Thompson demurred.

- The song that most gets stuck in your head
- Woodblock percussion and a dramatic bass-line, the most mature and serious song on Prism
- An uncluttered ode to love
- Ambient synths and powerful drums with a huge chorus, a definite #1 single
- Mid-tempo.

Definitely looking forward to this! :wub: This era has been so impressive so far, and I can't wait to hear 'Walking on Air' on the 30th. This to be along the lines of 'Pearl' please :smoke:

Looking forward to this a lot - Thinking Of You remains absolutely stunning for me, I'd love another song like that, even though it would probably underperform much like that track.
