Posted October 3, 201311 yr This is currently #1 in USA, Canada and recently in New Zealand. It is also climbing fast in Australia and all over Europe How high do you think this New Zealand beauty will peak in the UK Chart? This is the US video (IMO it's far better) nlcIKh6sBtc This is the European video LFasFq4GJYM
October 3, 201311 yr I want to say #1 but I really can't see her beating James. Something is srsly wrong with the UK public if she misses the top 2 though.
October 4, 201311 yr #1 or #2. I heard James Arthur's song, and I was shocked at how good it was. This would be a great top 2.
October 4, 201311 yr Its gonna be very interesting, I want to say #1 but James has the X Factor performance. Interestingly Lorde is now firmly ahead on pre-orders and is actually #1 on Irish Itunes which is sometimes a good indication. It'll be #2 at the lowest IMO either way.
October 4, 201311 yr This is good. Really good. Number 2 of the year so far for me (behind London Grammar's "Strong") Edited October 4, 201311 yr by fchd
October 4, 201311 yr This is good. Really good. Number 2 of the year so far for me (behind London Grammar's "Strong") Almost snap. I think I'd probably currently say 'Royals' is my #1 song of the year followed by Chase & Status' 'Lost & Not Found' and then 'Strong' in 3rd.
October 4, 201311 yr #1 Why is Capital treating this as her DÉBUT release? Has everyone forgotten Tennis Courts? :/ 'Now for Lorde's first ever single!' No, Capital. She released Tennis Courts earlier this year when you were hammering those three instead.
October 4, 201311 yr Why would anyone remember it? How many plays did it receive nationally I wonder and where did it chart? It might as well not have been released tbh. Saying '2nd single' would just confuse people...
October 5, 201311 yr R1 actually played it quite a bit, so it became my refuge away from the awful music at the time.
October 5, 201311 yr R1 actually played it quite a bit, so it became my refuge away from the awful music at the time. It made the INMWT list iirc, so you may have just been right-place-right-time to hear it; in the same sense you're just not there to hear Same Love... ----- Lorde is significantly higher than James Arthur on the pre-orders but have a feel James will just beat her :(
October 5, 201311 yr I think even if Lorde does chart behind James Arthur, she'll make #1 at some point.
October 5, 201311 yr I hope Lorde does outsell James Arthur, her song is a lot better than his. I think she will even if James beats her to the #1
October 5, 201311 yr I can see this beating James even with his XF performance. It'll certainly sell quite a bit more than him either way.
October 6, 201311 yr Author #2. James Arthur will beat her. AAAAAAAHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!! :puke2:
