Why do they do that? I seem to remember the single version of Pink/Lily Allen's 'True Love' getting deleted recently too, but I could never work out why.

As far as I know there wasn't such as single version for True Love.

I think they deleted the single of Hold On to concentrate the sales on the album version ( they were identical anyway). This isn't a completely new thing though, it happened a couple of times.

But there were definitely two versions of True Love, and then one of them got deleted for some reason, just when the song was nearing its peak. The following week, it fell down the chart and I always assumed it was because one of the versions got deleted!

It was the standard album and the deluxe album version, they were both deleted and re-added shortly. Maybe they've made some adjustments to the album.

Change Your Life>>>>>>>>>>>>Work>>>>>>>(x1000)>>Bounce

Can't disagree more, 'Bounce' is the only good one (and I really love it). The other two are so generic sounding.

I can't believe 'Bounce' totally flopped yet this utter rubbish is looking set to do well. :manson:

'Bounce' is her best yet by far, such a shame it flopped. :( 'Work' isn't *bad* but it's not amazing and 'Change Your Life' is fab.

'Bounce' > 'Change Your Life' > 'Work'

The Sats still slaying the top end of iTunes!! Who would've thunk

 41. Pour It Up - Rihanna

Very surprised to see this so high (I know the video has just come out but I didn't think that'd boost it back this high). Is this going to be re-sent to radio now or what? Probably should be as by the looks of things this should do much better than 'Right Now' (whereas 'What Now' failing to even make the iTunes top 100 after that performance indicates it's not exactly a smash in waiting).

 54. My N***a (feat. Jeezy & Rich Homie Quan) - YG

Get that top 40. If only so I can hear this 'My Hitta' radio edit. It'd be basically a different song

It would be great if Rihanna rises a bit more enough to go top 40 then we'd have another new entry or climber Sunday

Lol are you being ironic? Because theres no way you actually consider Work and CYL to be more generic than Bounce

'Work' and 'Chance Your Life' are VERY generic for their genre, 'Bounce' is a lot more unique sounding.

Tell me another song that sounds like it?

lol not necessarily the instrumental but I just always thought Bounce had more of that dance-pop vibe thats been everywhere in the past few years while Work and CYL being hip-hop/electronic-ish still feel more unique

"Pour It Up" was used quite heavily in a segment on Celebrity Juice last night, which probably explains it's recent rise.

Also, I think it's fairly obvious why they delete the single versions of tracks. If there's two versions of the exact same song floating about, then it makes sense to delete one, so the other one can climb the charts more. It may not be selling any more copies, but it at least sends it higher up the iTunes chart, meaning it generates more interest and more people will be inclined to buy it etc.

That was hilarious! Shame about it climbing though, 'What Now' needs to have twice the success this is getting at the moment. :(

I still need to watch last night's Celebrity Juice, got it sky plussed. I don't think its audience is THAT big though, to send 'Pour It Up' to #41?

whereas 'What Now' failing to even make the iTunes top 100 after that performance indicates it's not exactly a smash in waiting.

It had 2 versions just outside the top 100 though, so it would have been comfortably in the top 100 combined. :P

Well they do have over 1.5m viewers per episode (average) [most watched show on ITV2 ], so it could have had a moderate effect on where it is now.

 37 Rihanna- Pour It Up

How far up can this go for her?

53. YG ft Jeezy & Rich Homie Quan- My N****a

Apprently YG's name is short for Young Gangster. Also is Jeezy the same artist who featured on Usher's 'Love In This Club' and Rihanna's 'Hard'?

Didn't make the top 100 officially either though so it would have been a fairly short period it was top 100 combined for.
