October 13, 201311 yr I think the producers will want him to perform Blurred Lines in some form. Edited October 13, 201311 yr by Rabbit Heart
October 13, 201311 yr Maybe they will do a special week with x factor alumni to celebrate 10 years? An x factor greatest hits compilation is up for pre order for the end of November, so this idea may actually happen?
October 13, 201311 yr Author An x factor greatest hits compilation is up for pre order for the end of November, so this idea may actually happen? I wouldn't be surprised, kill about 10 birds with one stone! Cher Lloyd, Union J, Rebecca Ferguson, 1D, JLS, Leona, James Arthur, apparently Ella Henderson, Olly Murs, Jahmene Douglas and Little Mix are all acts they'll be wanting to shove in somewhere!

It's a one hour show remember! The maximum they'd have would probably be four acts I'd say. Rebecca may have her own slot in December or the last November show to promote the single or the album.

October 13, 201311 yr http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-X-Factor-Great...r+greatest+hits At least they won't be snubbing Matt on it. :kink:
October 13, 201311 yr I get the feeling Robin Thicke will either do a medley of 'Blurred Lines' and 'Give It 2 U' or "do a fun." and just perform the biggest hit of his career. I agree with the first part, I can kinda see his performance being quite controversial for a family show somehow, causing both tracks to shoot back up. So excited for Katy but that goes without saying.
October 14, 201311 yr There is absolutely no way that Robin Thicke won't be performing Blurred Lines, whether it's in its entirety or as part of a medley. I also wouldn't be surprised if Katy does 'Roar'.

Or they'll "do a The Voice" and have them all turn up and perform some sort of medley, instead of a group performance or something.
October 14, 201311 yr I am a big Ellie fan but that performance was pretty dreadful IMO the performance was OK, but that dress really *didn't* suit her - she doesn't have Beyonce's figure. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/artic...es-viewers.html Edited October 14, 201311 yr by vidcapper
October 14, 201311 yr I did think part of the problem with Ellie was she is better suited to more intimate venues, when I saw her live she owned the stage but it was only a 500 person venue.
October 14, 201311 yr She seemed uncomfortable and nervous & didnt know any of the shows contestants, im sure future weeks will have a bigger effect on the chart i mean a good performance can do wonders for you but this week had the wrong artists & songs performed! Look how well One Rep did after Alan Carr!
October 14, 201311 yr To be fair though, hardly any of the stars who perform know the acts, at least not beyond what the producers tell them to say anyway.

There have been 29 number 1 songs from X Factor acts; I am guessing Steve Brookstein's one hit and It's Chico Time won't be making it.

Yeah, considering Cher hasn't been in the UK for over 10 years*, I hardly think she's had the time to keep up on X Factor. :P *When Dermot said 10 years, did he mean she hasn't been in the UK or just hasn't performed here for that amount of time?
October 14, 201311 yr Ellie Goulding was w**k on the x factor yesterday. Robin Thickle will obviously perform his pervy anthem Blurred Lines.

The latter. She went on Graham Norton 3 years ago to promote "Burlesque".
October 14, 201311 yr The latter. She went on Graham Norton 3 years ago to promote "Burlesque". Oh yeah, I remember - she was on with Dawn French and they had the "Cher microphone". :P

October 14, 201311 yr Hopefully it's just the first verse/chorus of 'Blurred Lines' before moving onto 'Give It 2 U'.
