Unpopular opinion but I LOVE 'Berzerk'. His best single for a long time!

I really like 'Berzerk', glad it's peaked higher than 'Not Afraid'. I wonder if anything will be cherry picked from this album when it drops, the same as LTWYL did?

Although Miley annoys me, I do like 'Wrecking Ball' and it does sound like a #1 and it does sound like a massive record! It's been a while since we've had someone taking a complete hold on the top of the charts with more than one track!

Wow! Congratulations to Eminem! Not many people these days can still get top 2 hits 14 years into their career. He is an icon of our generation tbh.

Wrecking Ball is good too so not too upset about that stopping Em from having a #1.

I actually did love it but I think I've overplayed it too much :(

Wrecking Ball is AMAZING, great number 1.

Songs like this from Eminem just aren't as enjoyable these days, Give me Without You or The Real Slim Shady over this any day. (Though I'd happily take this over that overrated turd that was somehow 2010's best selling single)

CORRECTED.

Look at that list of Miley singles. Never had a top ten, then BOOM two number ones in a row. Amazing success. Jamie's is obviously clueless though "first time it has ever been done." This year maybe, but not ever.
Next time can you please not quote the whole post to save us from having to scroll a lot?

I was about to say the same thing.

Eminem may be a long way past his best as a rapper, but he is still on of the best lyricists of the 21st Century.
Rihanna's pole danced her way to #45 this week. Shame it couldn't just edge into the top 40. Maybe if she gets an XF performance she will do a mashup of Pour It Up and What Now?
Produced by Rick Rubin, samples the Beastie Boys, and is based heavily around a song by Billy Squire. It couldn't be any more 80s hip hop than that.

That would be Billy Squier. Normally I wouldn't be that pedantic, but the only thing I can remember about him from the time was the he threatened to sue any concert promoters that spelt his name incorrectly on promo material etc.

Shame to see Disco Love getting a negative reaction because it's my fave from them this year. So catchy.

Bonfire Heart is lovely and has been growing on me more and more now. All his others were pretty much Instant. Definitely the suprise hit of the year for me.

Bezerk is growing on me too. Not as awful as I thought it was and I'm a fan of his work usually too.

Miley's better song at no.1 this time :D well deserved. This new direction has paid off.

Counting Stars is even better now since they performed on Alan Carr :P

Great chart this week overall :D
