October 21, 201311 yr OMG Jack the image of that. *_* Things you can't unsee even though you haven't seen them.
October 22, 201311 yr Oh COME ON. It was obvious Calum meant that as a joke. If it was any of the "popular" members of Buzzjack that said it, then no-one would bat an eye-lid. Don't get me wrong because I would defend Calum if I thought people were being a tad harsh on him but that incident REALLY isn't something to 'joke' about no matter how you look at it..
October 22, 201311 yr Author Liam's right, though. If it were somebody else with popularity on the forum it wouldn't be picked up on. It'd probably be ignored or get a lot of " " responses... At the end of the day, she's not seriously injured. She fell down the stairs... Funny. I laugh at myself if I fall down the stairs, I laugh at my mum if she does, but that's just because maybe we can actually laugh at things. But if that kind of thing is a 'heartless' remark, OK...
October 22, 201311 yr Shelley could have given us an amazing rendition of Under The Sea. She could have dressed up as Ursula and EVERYTHING. :( *chokes* I feel like we could've had some Burlesque fun or a slutty Lady Marmalade.

But if that kind of thing is a 'heartless' remark, OK... I think it was more the "Hopefully she damaged her voice box on the way down" comment. I really doubt someone else would have posted something of that accord and that people would respond by laughing at it, I certainly wouldn't have no matter who it was. It's not exactly an isolated incident.
October 22, 201311 yr Author I think it was more the "Hopefully she damaged her voice box on the way down" comment. Which was quite obviously a comment made in jest; and it's not exactly a personal attack on her considering it's a dislike of her voice and not her as a person. Not even going to bother any more, though. It hasn't been deleted so I'm presuming it's not as bad as you're all making out.
October 22, 201311 yr I hope Tamera doesn't predictably do Listen or I Will Always Love You, they would be moments but I'd rather she wasn't so stereotypical... MOURNING for the loss of that amazing Under The Sea suggestion for Shelley </3
October 22, 201311 yr I Will Always Love You/Rule The World guaranteed to make an appearance this week then! Hoping for Rough Copy to sing Footloose.
October 22, 201311 yr Gary said on Xtra Factor over the weekend (it was a caller question that "if Rough Copy was to cover one of his songs, which would it be?") and said that it would be 'Rule the World', so maybe they'll get that?
October 23, 201311 yr SORRY FOR BEING LATE (flop mod I KNOW) but I thought I'd still address the situation... Abi is a musician, she obviously wants to earn money with her talent and voice, so saying stuff like that is quite unacceptable Calum even if it was intended as a 'joke' (there's a grain of truth in every joke). And the usual 'oh more popular members would've gotten away with it!!1' argument is getting old. In general though, Calum, does it really hurt to admit you wrote something potentially offensive or harsh every once in a while instead of going on and on and on about it? It's just making you look worse and derails threads. Liam's right, though. If it were somebody else with popularity on the forum it wouldn't be picked up on. It'd probably be ignored or get a lot of " " responses... At the end of the day, she's not seriously injured. She fell down the stairs... Funny. But if that kind of thing is a 'heartless' remark, OK... wot oh lol my mum just fell down the stairs she broke her ankle lmao ANYWAY, I came here to post how I ABSOLUTELY LOATHE all of the BOYS and Kingsland Road. Sam C cannot sing and really ISN'T HOT, Luke looks like a someone who'd been living on the streets for years AND he sounds horrible, that other third guy is just generally forgettable and SHIT as well, Kingsland Road just want to be another 1D which they will never be - generic, blah, yawn, bye
October 23, 201311 yr Author And the usual 'oh more popular members would've gotten away with it!!1' argument is getting old. Old, or very true? In general though, Calum, does it really hurt to admit you wrote something potentially offensive or harsh every once in a while instead of going on and on and on about it? It's just making you look worse and derails threads. I wasn't even going to say anything to begin with... Before people started jumping on the bandwagon with comments about it, blowing it out of proportion. And then, somebody level-headed came in and made a comment actually realising/acknowledging that it was intended as a joke. I find it strange that I'm the only one you're addressing when you say I was "going on and on and on". But in the end, apologies to those who felt it was maybe a bit inappropriate even if it wasn't meant to come across as severely as it did (not sorry for it seemingly being 'heartless' though...)
October 23, 201311 yr I really hope Tamera doesn't sing I Will Always Love You, as much as I love the song its so predictable, she needs to keep being contemporary
October 23, 201311 yr I thought Hannah just about edged Tamara out of those two massive performances. It's obvious that Tamara is THE Leona of 2013 but much better.
October 23, 201311 yr WHY IS EVERYONE LOVING TAMERA SO MUCH. she's good but not THAT good. SRSLYYou see, this is how I feel about Hannah. So much. Tamera just has the appeal you need to be a popstar. Whatever the "X Factor" is, I think she has it. Especially compared to the rest of the competition this year. If handled correctly, she has potential to be huge and not just in the UK, I believe/hope.
October 23, 201311 yr WHY IS EVERYONE LOVING TAMERA SO MUCH. she's good but not THAT good. SRSLY Probably because everyone else is mind numbingly DULL or SHIT that it makes her look better than she actually is? I do agree though to an extent.
October 23, 201311 yr The thing is though, everyone started saying this after they saw just one performance of hers. JUST ONE. Ever since then it was obvious she'd get through bootcamp and judgies houses and get to the Top 5 AT LEAST. Same I felt about Hannah and Sam except I SEE how both of them are good.
October 23, 201311 yr After that one performance people saw the potential she has. Throughout the show (bar the second week for obvious reasons) she seems to have lived up to that potential, imo. I agree that she isn't "that" good, but tbf, in a series which seems to be mostly average, someone is going to stick out and for me (and others it seems) she's the one. The potential is definitely there with her I feel. (Whether she actually fulfills that potential or not is for a different topic/when she's releasing her own stuff)
October 23, 201311 yr I think she's really good but I can't bring myself to properly get behind Tamera - there's something really sullen about her a person that makes me fairly disinterested in her. Hannah comes across much better imo, and I do slightly prefer her voice. I do really like her though and she does undoubtedly have one of the best voices in the competition.
