November 10, 201312 yr Slow by Kylie has held up quite well over the years. It still sounds quite fresh.
November 10, 201312 yr Hello everyone! November 10, 201312 yr 'Slow' by Kylie is good but it's not number one worthy, especially when there's been much better and bigger singles from her since. Mind you, it was the lead single of an era which followed Fever so it would be a surprise for 'Slow' to appear at any position but #1.
November 10, 201312 yr I like the 90s sound of Storm Queen but it's a bland track, I wish it wasn't going to #1 as there have been so many better dance tracks this year. Like next week when we have Martin Garrix.
November 10, 201312 yr Really looking forward to seeing Storm Queen going to #1  Me too! ^_^ It would be epic it was Storm Queen/Martin Garrix/Bastille in a row! :w00t: :yahoo:
November 10, 201312 yr 40 (from 31) The Saturdays - Disco Love [P] http://a5.mzstatic.com/us/r30/Music6/v4/25/7c/4b/257c4b0b-c696-c617-fc1f-a9acd38602d4/13UAAIM68575.170x170-75.jpg Chart Run: 5-14-30-31-40 [5 wks] Release date: 06-10-2013 / 07-10-2013 Format: digital single / CDS Number of Discs: 1 Label: Polydor Sales: 90k+ Video here: LmncQGy_7Lk Biography The first major girl band to be launched in the U.K. after a multi-year drought, five-piece pop group the Saturdays boasted a photogenic appearance and electro-pop sound, leading to their labeling by some critics as the new Girls Aloud. Formed in 2007 through auditions that were held by a management company hoping to revive the flagging pop market, all five members had previous performing experience. Una Healy started singing in a rock band and later recorded her own solo album, which she showcased around bars and clubs in her native Ireland. Vanessa White attended the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School and appeared in the West End production of The Lion King. Mollie King had been part of girl band Fallen Angels, who made it through to the boot camp stages of ITV's The X Factor, while the two most recognizable members, Frankie Sanford and Rochelle Wiseman, were previously in teen pop band S Club Juniors, who scored six Top Ten hits in the early noughties. The band signed to an offshoot of Polydor Records, Fascination, the home of Girls Aloud, whom they later supported on the Tangled Up tour. Their first single, "If This Is Love," sampled Yazoo's "Situation" and reached number eight in the U.K. charts. Their self-titled debut album then appeared at the end of 2008. The group followed up with the mini-album Headlines!, led by the single "Missing You," in 2010. The Saturdays spent the bulk of the first part of 2011 working on their third album. The first single from the record, "My Heart Takes Over," was released in September, with the full-length On Your Radar appearing in November. The single "30 Days" followed in 2012. In 2013, the Saturdays released the EP Chasing the Saturdays, which took its title from the group's reality series on the E! network. ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi / iTunes Chart history (Year peak title): 2008 08 If This Is Love -1- 2008 05 Up -2- 2008 04 Issues -3- 2009 02 Just Can't Get Enough -4- 2009 22 Work -5- 2009 02 Forever Is Over -1- 2009 09 Ego -2- 2010 03 Missing You -1- 2010 10 Higher (The Saturdays Feat. November 10, 201312 yr 39 (from 49) AWOLNATION - Sail [D] http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51CBhsLgO7L._AA160_.jpg Chart Run: 73-54-49-39 [4 wks] Release date: 25-09-2011 Format: download only single Label: EMI UK Video here: PPtSKimbjOU Biography A solo project of Aaron Bruno, AWOLNATION began as a creative outlet for the songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Bruno, who had been a member of Home Town Hero and Under the Influence of Giants, needed a break from the collaborative process and hoped to find a place for some of his songs that didn’t fit with his other bands. With AWOLNATION, Bruno built a kind of creative free-for-all for himself, allowing him to blend genres as he wanted in a style reminiscent of Beck, blending live instrumentation, electronic elements, and slick production into an electro-pop hybrid that draws from the whole of pop music. In 2011, AWOLNATION made its full-length debut, releasing Megalithic Symphony on Red Bull Records. - iTunes Chart history (Year peak title): 2013 39 Sail -1-
November 10, 201312 yr Didn't expect AWOLNATION to make the top 40, but glad it did. Sounds like nothing else in the charts at the moment.
November 10, 201312 yr Me too! ^_^ It would be epic it was Storm Queen/Martin Garrix/Bastille in a row! :w00t: :yahoo:  Then Calvin Harris the week after. That would be amazing! :w00t: AWALNATION Top 40! :D
