Seriously though - I'm sure Paloma would be included. I wonder if Rachel Stevens will gate crash this one?

Cheryl? :kink:

Poor Girls Aloud were not on Band Aid 20. Maybe they couldn't be because they did the Children In Need single in 2004?

My more "respected artist" suggestions - George Ezra/Paolo Nutini?

I think it would be more serious/respected artists. Like back on the last one (bar gate crash Stevens) everyone on it was a decent, credible singer, group, musician. They wouldn't let the likes of the Saturdays near it at all.

It'd be people like

Adele

Ed

Emeli

Tom Odell

Ellie Golding

Etc

They might add one direction and cheryl purely because of popularity and fan base but little mix, the vamps, the Saturdays etc would not even be invited

Kate Bush to sing. Burial to produce please.

Not sure I'm keen on a new versions. There were some great artists involved on the last one but let's face it, it was absolute tripe and pandered way too much to the styles of the artists. We did not need depressing Coldplay pianos, cringy Darkness guitars, Dizzie Rascal's awkward rap or ad-libbing from Joss Stone. Christmas was completely sucked out of the track.

I fear the one this year will also be no more than showcasing current artists and maybe it's because I'm not interested in most of them but I'm not up for it. Of course 1D will be on there, they're shoehorned into everything. Ed, Emeli, Jessie J-I'm just not feeling it. I'd rather there were more older artists who are repeated but not current that we're involved.

This is my full prediction on who will take part, including people who'll most likely be relegated to the chorus or who weren't invited  (Taking into account they'll probably be a mixture of indie and pop and wishful thinking)

I suspect a lot of the people on that list will be involved. As for Bono, somebody on Haven suggested Hozier to deliver that line which seems a good idea to me.
