Now 1D has 10+ % lead over Lily... maybe it will be enough for the weekend? She can't be more than 800-1000 copies ahead... they are so much deserving this than her again with a cover... Take it!

The report says she's a "few thousand ahead", so I doubt they'll catch her, as much as I'd like them to. Should still be quite close though.

Oh... I didn't knew it was Thousand... It was a small gap... nevermind, they still selling their album like candy, 130K for second week VS 77 of the last album second week is amazing... with the X factor finale... they will sell another 250-300K each week in the last 2 they have this year.

If Lily Allen has the #1 single on Sunday it be the fourth track this year returning to #1, after James Arthur, Robin Thicke and OneR.

I'm on Team Lily this week, less of the #1 weekly turnovers, next week will be interesting, can OneDirection get there if they don't, Bastille, Avicii maybe with sales so low or SuBo with Elvis Presley getting a #1, O Come, All Ye Faithful  -_- that would be so freaky a bit of an oddball.

Let's hope Lily Allen can stay number one single. I'd rather she return to number one than poo direction.
Outside the top 3 sales arent great by the looks of things :(
Looks like Leona will debut at #30-#35 then. Rather disappointing, but not surprising. Hopefully when her promo kicks in next week, it'll rise into the top 10. :)

...and the first single ever (I believe) to go 1-4-1 in consecutive weeks

How is this possible that 1D every day were selling more than Lily on Itunes, and now she has few thousands copies advantage?

Oh please hold on Lily, I would rather this gets to number one over 1D!!

1D probably weren't selling more than her every day on iTunes anyway (Lily has been ahead combined for a reasonable proportion of the week), but Lily seems to actually be getting a decent advantage from CD sales.

Physicals.

C'mon 1D :cheer: #2 is great regardless but hopefully they can build up an even bigger lead on iTunes to secure a #1, but if not it should hopefully give them a head start for next week.

i think britney will now completly miss the top 40, i see oly has now overtaken rebecca...happy to see gary barlow still holdin up well.

Judging on kworb with no doubt one direction sold more during this week than lily. Even if she has an advantage because of her CD sales ( which is imho doubful considering that 1d also has a physicals) how many copies of them she could sell 2k? 3k?

I think it'll at least remain Top 40. I don't think it'll dip 13+ places in the space of two days. It has sold over 10k from Mon-Thurs, so it should be enough for her to place within the 30s region at worst.

2-3k is probably more than enough. 1D haven't exactly been miles ahead of her on iTunes all week (as I said, she's been periodically ahead combined even there). And 1D's physical has been out for a few weeks so it's not exactly going to be helping them out much now, whereas Lily's physical only came out this week. I'm not sure how you can say it's doubtful when it's plainly obvious that's the case :P

Surely OneD's physical stock is only available from their website and probably thin on the ground by now, Lily should have the advantage over them physically wise.

If Lily sold 2 k physical, and 1d sold few hundreds and have even small advantage on itunes i still don't see how she can be ,,thousands'' ahead of them.

You want a #1 album?

Sell 200 thousand?

You better wo... Oh nevermind then.

Do you have any source for her selling 2k physicals beyond your own random guess? :P
