I could see the top 3 being Avicii, Jason Derulo and Pharrell by the end of the week. Starting to think Pharrell could challenge for #1 at some point, he has support from R2 now as well as R1 and Capital - all he needs is Heart and he's basically covered by all the major stations.

Glad to see Leona at #2. Hope she can sustain herself above Jason Derulo/Ellie/Pharrel until Friday and pull away a little with her promo. ^_^

She's quite a bit behind. I think the boost is because a snippet of "One More Sleep" was used on TOWIE I believe.

 

Also, "Trouble" peaked at #5 with a single version, but combined I think it made it to #3/#4. Although it peaked on Tuesday and fell the rest of the week. But it had an EP to help out its sales too. This doesn't, so happy to see it climbing today! :D

Men sseem to have it much easier getting respect in the music industry, releasing weak as piss songs and getting playlisted because they are instantly seen as 'cool'. Well, I think his songs are all poop, including this one.

I don't think Radio 2 playing it would make it not dance tbh. They've played Daft Punk, Rudimental (maybe even Disclosure and/or Naughty Boy as well, I can't remember), although songs like Get Lucky are quite soulful as well, which is what gives them the crossover appeal.

How many are off for Christmas already? There's still nearly two weeks to go, not even schools are off yet? I guess Universties have broken up, but how many students would watch that anyway?

Avicii's Hey Brother is much better than you make me but not as great wake me up. I would love for him achieve another number 1 and boost the album sales which has so far not lived up to expectation with sales.

 

Leona still remaining in a strong position and its Thursday so the X Factor appeal grew and kept it up, surely she has to be top 3 on Sunday now with its performance all week.
