If you're referring to Peppermint - it was released last Autumn and didn't do anything. :(

it's up on pre-order for a 23 February release, so it could do something if R1 pick up on it :D (can't see it being a big hit personally, but it'd be nice if Julio could get that top 40 hit (that Au seve deserved to be))

'Au Seve' deserved to be a multi-week #1 imo, but for it to get as high as #55 officially from nighttime airplay and it being Nick Grimshaw's ROTW was a big achievement.
'au seve' is a MASTERPIECE ('peppermint' certainly isn't) :(

I like 'Peppermint' A LOT once we move past the intro.

A radio edit must be on course so people get into it a bit more. [the outro is fab tho]

Peppermint is a 6/10 moment, so disappointing given how good the two artists are and how good "110%" is (their previous collaboration).
Yeah, I heard it on radio 1 as like a record of the week (something like that anyway) so I assumed it was new. I still think it could do well with support on re-release, Au Seve didn't do that badly seeing as it wasn't that commercial at all (This one is definitely more so)

Funniest number 1 ever?

Au Seve may as well have been a huge hit the amount I've heard it over the past couple of years in bars, clubs, parties etc.

Not when Chef 'Chocolate Salty Balls' was a #1

It was a huge hit! The charts are really just a list of what sells the most (which itself is primarily a reflection of radio airplay). Au Seve was popular before house music was back in the charts, so none of the big mainstream stations were going to play it unfortunately. If it was 12 months later I think Radio 1 would have playlisted it like with Jack and Look Right Through. There's lots of other songs in the same situation as Au Seve, which everybody knows but failed to chart high.

Being very well known and being a 'huge hit' are not the same thing.

Clean Bandit at number 11 on pre orders...I think this has to be number one next week I don't see how The Vamps can outsell this now given how well Rather Be is doing ahead of its release

Fingers crossed, as this would be an amazing numbèr one

'Cant Remember To Forget You' #9

Looks like it might not make the Top 10 on Sunday.

No matter how many versions The Vamps try and flog, they won't be #1 next week!
I really hope 'Dibby Dibby Sound' fails to reach number 1. Awful!
Peppermint has a release date now it was record of the day today on radio 1 & its on the 1 Xtra playlist! Could do well enough!

I heard it for the first time tonight, and even being drunk couldn't make it more bearable.
