My first Now was Now 41-it's still one of my favourites now. But I remember my brother having Now 24 on casette and a few from the late 30s. We now have Now 20 and everything from 23 to 83.

Snap!

Got some classics on it including "My Favourite Game" by the Cardigans.

I've only got a few, but at the Hospital radio station I volunteer at they have every Now from 20 onwards on CD. :o

I'm going to be a grumpy old git and mourn for the days where the artwork was often quite LOVELY (particularly from mid-90s to mid-00s) where they went to pains to ensure each had their own identity/colour scheme. Now covers these days just look a child was vomited up paint of every colour known to man. And seriously, bunnies? Awful. I would feel embarrassed to take that to a counter.

I agree. Another reason I live Now 41 being the beautiful cover. The colours just remind me of late 98 and great memories.

Now 41 was definitely the best one - the Malteser look is bizarrely something I associate with that era. A CD cover is a strange thing to inspire nostalgia but hey.
Now 41 is something very special indeed I can listen to everything but the final three tracks on Disc 1 without skipping (ok, maybe I'll skip UB40) and Disc 2 whilst more patchy has some great moments on it (The Cardigans, The Corrs, Robbie, Sash!, 911).

What a vile cover. This is my favourite.

The 30 series all had great artwork (and tracklistings).

Absolutely stunning.

I'm probably alone, but I liked Now 59's cover the best (and WHAT A NOW ALBUM - Although it's responsible for the oddest, CD1 Track 1 song... :s)

I loved the whole ice sculpture with the fairy lights in the background lighting it up.

Haha yeah, some of the mid 00s Now's had some questionable album openers. I guess the compilers assumed that Curtain Falls by Blue would be a far bigger hit than it actually was  My favourite 'Disc 1, track 1' was DJ Sammy's Heaven on Now 52, as I'd been championing the song all year and then it FINALLY took off and to get that was the icing on the cake. Oddly, Las Ketchup and Enrique followed it in the tracklisting, making it an all Spanish first three songs. I wonder if they did that on purpose because the Enrique song wasn't exactly a hit!

Some Girls and What You Waiting For were fairly surprising album openers too for Now 58 and Now 60, strange that they had three editions in a row starting without a #1 single! I'd have picked Lola's Theme, or even Eamon followed by Frankee to open Now 58 (as those two were arguably the biggest fad at the time), Call On Me to open Now 59 no question and Almost Here by Delta and Brian McFly's All About You or Tony Christie's Amarillo to open Now 60!

Jonjo, you're not alone! Now 59 is my second favourite Now album of all time and I liked the Now 59 cover as well! :D

My first ever NOW CD was NOW 44. I remember asking it for Christmas on Tape and getting angry when I got it on CD, because I couldn't play it in the car.

Love the cover, the guys over at the Now Music Forums are being over dramatic saying it's too childish and shall be purchasing it online to save themselves the embarrassment.

Also interested in what NOW plan on doing to celebrate NOW 30 YEARS

My very first Now was I'm sure as sure Now 40 back in the summer of 1998. Had some absolute classics on that as I seem to remember...and both sides of All Saints' double-a-side as well which I don't think they ever did on any other Now compilation except maybe with Steps...?
My first Now was Now 39. (Includes the likes of 'Never Ever', 'Together Again', 'Angels', 'Perfect Day'... and 'No Way No Way'. :kink: )

That was one of the very best ones.

Tracklisting for Now 84 should be released on Friday. :)

Sony have also bought the 50% rights from EMI.
