I think that there are too many flops that will be forgotten about by the time Now 88 comes out in the Summer.
Human's nowhere near being one of the major omissions...

It is a major omission for me. I love the track. Depends on your personal taste I guess...

:manson: at Rather Be getting snubbed. I'm interested to know the reason why especially when Tsunami and My Love are on there and haven't nearly been as popular :/

Oh I very much like it, but there are tracks that have actually gone top 10 that have been missed also.

Um, because they've been #1s?! I'm sure NOW did ask Clean Bandit but their record company didn't let them.

No Imagine Dragons :( It's odd though, they have all these omissions but isn't this the biggest Now album yet with 46 (!!!) tracks?! Some aren't even going to smash though.

Such an odd amount of omissions. Usually there's only 2 or 3 MAJOR ones, but this time it's like they've missed off about 10 current top 40 hits in favour of songs that obviously won't perform that well. I wish labels would sort out these silly little issues!

ANYWAY; ending on a positive...

DOUBLE LITTLE MIX *.* The Saturdays could neva etc... :kink:

And yet they did on Now 72

Now 76 had 46 tracks.
That album also had Enrique suspiciously high on the running order
No Clean Bandit? What the f***? :manson:

Yet they find room to include 1D and Miley, songs released before Xmas over some recent chart hits?!?!

Though there may be a reason why its not on there, could be saving it for Now 88 but I gave up on the Now collection years ago just for the fact most of the songs I liked I'd already bought or downloaded

But great to see so many of the recent big dance hits on there but still not enough to make me want to buy!

Let's face it, you're saying that because you're not a fan of them over anything else. Now albums don't just cater to your taste. Neither song were on the last album and Story of My Life especially has been in the top 10 for a good few weeks since the last album came out, so I think they're both relevant inclusions. It's meant to represent the last ~3/4 months rather than the last two weeks.

Big omissions and random flops. This is now 87, not NOW 55. It's so odd. But what are you going to do.

Looking through the track listing again, it's not that bad really. Some nice pop inclusions on disc 1 and the bottom of disc 2.

The only real miss for me is Clean bandit. Although tbf, I think I much preferred Nows back in the days we weren't taking it for granted that every hit would appear in the series. It's probably just nostalgia but they seemed to flow a bit better back then.
I sort of agree, I do miss the Hits albums, as it was nice to own some of the mid-table hits sometimes, and those from alternative record labels. Although I guess the turnover in the charts isn't fast enough these days to warrant an alternative series to Now.

I think that's what I mean. A lot of my favourite songs these days are minor hits that you could have always relied on being on Nows. These days a lot can miss the cut because they have more choice of the bigger hits. Although not this time it seems.

The only real miss for me is Clean bandit.

Yay we finally agree on something
