Poor Love Song murdered. But Fix You was slaughtered, so tired of the overhyped 'authentic males' on this show.
Birdy - Not About Angels :P

Thank you!

Raign is AMAZING And you will all deal. You could tell she would kill her own mother to get what she wants.

Big UGH at that last guy, anyone with a horrible country-style, strained voice should STAY AWAY from any Coldplay song...

First time I've watched this in almost two years (my mum was home, decided to watch it) - same as ever, but there wasn't even that many really good singers either which made it worse. That whole Amy drama yesterday seemed so forced and unnecessary if it was just leading up to a 'no'. She wasn't good enough to go through (though neither were that duo where the guy didn't seem to actually be playing the guitar but whatever), but it didn't need all that build up and that cringeworthy hug at the end...

I sense I probably won't be posting in here anymore

Gosh, most of the auditions being shown are completely typical, so many "seen it all before" acts and people are lapping them up as if they're incredible and fresh. Hmm.

In particular Jay James - I really do not understand the love for him at all. Why are they deliberately hyping him up? What exactly would his target market be? Would anyone really buy his painful versions of 'Fix You' and 'Say Something'? Good God. :(

Haven't really enjoyed many male auditions this year. I'm really not into the "soulful" performances from Paul Akister, Andra Faustini etc. They just sound really forced to me, like they're mimicking soul rather than it coming naturally. I don't think either would fit into the music industry, so I'm just thinking "what's the point?".

As for those I've liked... Kayleigh seems like she could be special. If her confidence picks up she could be quite something. I think Lauren Platt has potential too, but hopefully her appeal isn't strictly limited to slowed down versions of uptempo songs. That could get old quickly.

Nail meet head! Spot on with everything!

Typical auditions again this year. Passing some right crap and rejecting some good ones.

No wonder they are losing viewers again.

An example they passed that stupid guy who completely wrecked a great Queen song but they rejected Amy Connolly who could really sing but was just a bit nervous.

Even the audience booed the judges when they rejected her.

And that Italian guy who ruined one of my favourite Otis Songs. You could hardly tell a word.

If they keep on at this rate they will lose another viewer.

Scrap that, apparently they've been together a while:

Hmm...

Plus (from the same article):

Would you ever go on The X Factor?

Joey: "No we wouldn't to be honest. We want to try and make it on our own the old school way."

RyRy: "Don't get me wrong, it's an entertaining show. I don't dislike it, it's fun to watch. But personally, I think we'd like to go down the old school route."

Joey: "We just want to show people that you can do it on your own and you can do it organically. If you put the time in and interact with your fans, you can build up that fan base without the big backing of a show like that and I think it's been going well for us so far."

I really liked their song though. I don't understand how you can understand their personality or what gap they fill (or don't fill) but for an X Factor group 'starting up' (in terms of that being one of their first televised performances) it was a very solid performance and like it or not, they will compete in the live stages of the competition.

In terms of groups, we've not really seen that many. There was a mixed group from the first stage that covered "Something About the Way You Look Tonight" that I really liked (and again, I expect they'll go as far as judges' houses at least).

The Courtisans... amazing.... :D Cheryl's face was priceless

They passed this shit through and they rejected Amy Connelly - no wonder ratings are down. :puke2: :puke2:

I WANT Overload. Like that. In fact any way, really.

One Direction wannabees

Great to see so many people that I've known before the show doing well here :o Overload were amazing, so proud of them!

This year's auditions haven't been as good. They've shown barely any of the hilariously bad ones! That's what attracts the viewers in the auditions stage.

Of the good ones, they've scrapped two of my initial favourites in Rebecca & Amy. Also I swear Lauren Platt (can't remember her name) was in Sweetchix from BGT this year. She looks indentical to one of their members.

She's brilliant! Very marketable and contemporary.
God, this whole process feels incredibly contrived this year. In a way it never felt before.
I'm calling it, Raign is so gonna be in the live shows. But will she manage to adapt Don't Let Me Go to fit every theme? She's been in such a creative place for the last 3 moths but still just sings the same song again...
Is she trying to be the new Florence Welch, its failing for me, she is ok but she should stick to songwriting rather than singing
