Clean Slaydit back at #1 woo yeah! :cheer: Although how the f*ck is Idina Menzel still climbing? She hasn't had any airplay outside of the song being used in Frozen (as far as I know), so surely it should be decreasing in popularity now it's been out for over a month.

Lol at Elyar Fox already down to #38 on week 3 and potentially missing the top 40 by Sunday.

Been available since November and only started smashing at the beginning of this month for some random (but amazing) reason. I think it's down to it getting played on the music channels (they always do that "Official UK Top 40" rundown I think) and I'm sure it'll be played on those channels outside of that programme. If it wins the Oscar for best original song, I can see it being in the top 40 for a while!

Ellie sold 20k last week, and now the forecast 7k :o

7.8k is how much she's sold Sunday-Tuesday, she still has Wednesday-Saturday which basically means she's looking at 15-18k, probably more.

Hold that front page it cleared that 10k gap :o well blow me down
Fantastic for Sophie  be great to see her have a second week top 5.
For those who care, I've added the MW sales report.
I hope Idina Menzel, The Weather Girls and Sophie Ellis-Bextor don't fall too much in the singles chart!

Surprised to see Sophie holding up so well!

Any news on where Mike + The Mechanics Singles set is on its second week?

big fall of Robbie Williams 15 ..> 34 !!!

Mother's Day can't come soon enough :P

His team would be wise to push another single soon to capitalise on the colder months (I may be wrong but I think of swing music as being seasonal and can't imagine the album will sell well in the summer).

I find swing music is a seasonal thing. I only tend to enjoy it on the run up to Christmas. I think it's sold better than Take The Crown though, so his record label should be happy.

Yeah, it's done great and I can see it selling well again next Christmas if promoted.

I'm relieved to see Clean Bandit holding on, even though its not a massive lead but I'm hopeful they will be ahead by Sunday with sales about 95-100k!

Katy B top 5 has made my year!!!! Well deserved for her though cant help wishing she was number one :(

I note Daft Punk and "Get lucky" is at No40 in the midweeks with two versions on itunes between 40 and 80, similarly Kristen Bell has two versions of her Frozen hit in the same band. I wonder if that has an outside chance of a top 40 hit if it grows slightly more this week? Go Veronica Mars!

I just hope she can keep that top 5 as 'Timber' isn't far behind on iTunes and has a second version just outside the top 100.

Well clean bandit sold 20k in 24 hours and that was before the f***ing hunormous boost that pushed will.i.am back 40% . Surely 100k+

It's a good week for rock/metal fans, with YM@6, Of Mice & Men and the great Skindred all in the top 20.

Fun fact - I once went to see Of Mice And Men live in Nashville, but left early in disgust when I realised their merch stand sold 6 different types of band t-shirt, but not one piece of recorded music.

More money in T-shirts than CDs
big fall of Robbie Williams 15 ..> 34 !!!

His early sales were huge. His pre orders set an Amazon record. Perhaps it because most music buyers who like Robbie have it already?
