Zedd at #3 already, Clean Bandit seem far ahead at the moment. Would love to see Zedd at #1. Cue nerdy chart fact: actually it be the second artist to grace the #1 spot with the letter Z after Zager & Evans (Dec 1969).

I agree. I think Zedd is going to stall, and the Pharrell Williams track has got a second lease of life due to the Fiat car advert -_- Happy has had an amazing chart run in the top 3 since... last week of December 2013 :lol: It just won't go away. Actually I think Pharrell is performing at the Brits :(

Urge I still hate Happy as much as the first time I heard it.

I cannot believe that there are several fake versions of Happy at the bottom end of the Top 300 on iTunes. :lol: People can be daft at times can't they? :P

I hope to god Pharell isn't #1 again... Absolutely terrible track, it's one of the worst #1s in a while for me. Not a huge fan of Stay The Night either if I'm honest but it's good enough. I'm just disappointed given the names attached - Zedd is capable of amazingness like Clarity and Paramore are my fave band so I was excited to hear Hayley on a dance song.

I think Katy B's "Aaliyah" will be cherry-picked a lot from Monday. Top 75 on iTunes at least.

This is apparently a tribute to the republican Hunger Strikers of the early 80s. I'm guessing there's a campaign to get this into the charts. If it does chart, I wonder if there'll be the same uproar as when Ding Dong made it?

 

Edit - there is a campaign behind this song, from Celtic supporters. Not sure I completely agree with them, but this isn't the forum to discuss this.

It so happens to be a coincidence that it was released 6 years ago next month as well. Interesting fact alert.
