I didn't know if I should have found the odds and predictions baffling or not but these results prove they were rather off anyway! I'm so happy to get through, thanks to everyone who voted for 'Cool & Deadly'. A bit sad to see 'Night By Night' DNQ tho!

Sorry, not particularly clear was it? :P The Four Seasons are one of my favourite ever recordings, but I normally give the space at the top of my votes to newer discoveries . But yeah, I didn't have much else to choose from this time :(

Delighted to be through but such was the quality (or lack of) of semi 1 and the countries in it I'd have been disappointed to have not made it to be honest. Glad all the ones I did like went though, apart from Soap&Skin though that realistically was never going to happen.

This version with the South African choir came out a few years later and won a Grammy, fun fact. And that's not enough for a veto?!

It doesn't look TOO bad on paper but I'm so so gutted for Tinnmark and Zechonia, given that they don't normally do that well and completely deserve it this time! Admittedly, Store P is just a less-amazing version of Lorentz & Sakarias, but that's no bad thing~

 

Over the moon to go through and seemingly having a bit of a fanclub! I was genuinely expecting 25th place in the semi at best, so to be at least 10 places above that is quite surreal.

 

And ooh (p.s., the edit line belongs to me), unless the semi 1 qualifiers are amazing and wipe out all my semi 2 votes, my final votes are going to be chock-a-block with countries I don't normally vote for, so yay.

Bit of a delayed comment but I'm putting my final votes together and I'm sad that I can't vote for Bignia, Trifoski and Bellamia who were all in my top 5 favourites from Semi 1 :(
