EDIT: I've been informed that 'Into The Blue' is actually playlisted by Capital, though that doesn't necessarily mean they're actually playing it. I rarely listen to Capital so someone else would have to provide the anecdotal evidence there ~

 

I listen to radio a LOT, so when I say Capital's not playing something, i.e Same Love, they're not playing it or when they're hammering something, i.e Screech, they're hammering it. However, just liek Same Love, with Kylie they ARE playing it but mainly late at night, 9pm onwards really but I have heard it during the day but rarely, like with Same Love again.

I can imagine them doing that actually. They don't actually want to play it but they are hiding it away at night to show that they are actually playing it and therefore they won't get the press coverage that Radio 1 will.

Enrique is so close to overtaking Pharrell at the moment and I never in a million years would've expected to see Enrique back in the Itunes top 10, let alone nearing the top 3!

Or just the original Habits :P One of my top 10 of 2013, but I had a feeling Tove would get success somehow (I think it will only snowball from here).

Hope that minor reduction can help out Sweater Weather, deserves to be huge.

My take on Into The Blue

 

The instant grat was only available when pre-ordering the album..... now it is available for everyone to buy as a single...

 

therefore if Kylie fans bought the single edition (now deleted) they can now add to the sales by all of you downloading the album version now... so if you want Kylie up the charts you can own both versions

 

it is quite clever marketing if it works.......it actually means you can buy Kylie twice to get her to the top...... and they may well also add the totals together over night to boost the iTunes chart position...

 

hope this makes sense... basically every Kylie fan can now download ITB again for 99p and double its sales (which you couldn't before unless you pre-ordered the album)

'The Kooks' new song 'down' is available for preorder and out in April. Hope it does well, so different for them but fresh.

'Sweater Weather' has finally clicked with me today after finding it quite dull the first few listens. Hope it can be a bit of a sleeper hit but with R1 likely to drop it fairly soon that's probably unlikely.

On another note epic fail by Kylie's record company - They have probably robbed her of a Top 10 hit deleting the single version!
