So, the #10 is outselling Elyar and Meridian Dan by 2:1. I shall be quite surprised if they both stay top-10 by Sunday.

So the long wait on pre orders appears to have harmed Hideaways longevity at no.1 on itunes and officially :( Shame Sigma can't snatch it back instead of Mr Probz next week.

So high still... so much time after... like 10 new songs above it... and no promo or anything... this song is SO good.

Tove Lo sounds exactly like Alunageorge. To the point where I heard stay high on the radio and thought it was AG and wondered why I hadn't heard of this.

 

Is there some connection there? Has anyone pointed this out because I can't find a discussion on it.

I did think "Stay High" sounded like it was sung by Aluna Francis at first actually, but I think that's just the remix's fault.

 

Impressed that Sam Smith is still as high as #17 combined actually, was expecting it to tumble soon after peaking; glad it's not though.

 

There was a 10-week streak in 2011 by all British artists - Dappy "No Regrets" through to JLS "She Makes Me Wanna".

I could NEVER think about AlunaGeorge when I thought about Tove Lo tbf. :lol: I always think about her as a much better Lana del Rey type artist - yes. But maybe I'm too alone in that. :P
