I think Jay Z's rap ruins :/

Drunk In Love STILL here after XO has been and gone and Partition didn't quite manage top 40! I wonder if Pretty Hurts can be the third top 40 from this era...

Omg, I hope so! Pretty Hurts was the immediate standout from the album for me, it's amazing. Deserves to be as big as Best Thing I Never Had tbh

I'm kindda glad David Guetta didn't slip out of the Top 40 like the midweeks was suggesting. Bad is growing on me now, but he needs to somehow save this song from flopping!

Bad is SO grating until the Showtek part... when it then becomes a jam. :music:

This still sounds like David Guetta ft. Alvin and The Chipmunks

Drunk In Love STILL hear after XO has been and gone and Partition didn't quite manage top 40! I wonder if Pretty Hurts can be the third top 40 from this era...

Well 'Drunk In Love' is technically the current single (jointly with 'Partition') and happens to be getting R1 airplay while 'Partition' isn't :P

Still no signs of recovery for 'Bad', looks like it may be a bit of a flop for Guetta... I'm sure his next single will do better anyway.

'Bad' is a bit of flop in chart terms, but it is essentially just a club track that has gone top40 off the back of Guetta's name!

Sounds very like in parts 'Get Up (Rattle)'

Oops at David Guetta.

Hopefully his next single does slightly better than this, but I hope he doesn't have to go down the ultra-generic-dance-pop route to get another decent sized hit.

Better than Shot Me Down, wish they swapped chart runs

Biography

Justin Randall Timberlake (born January 31, 1981) is an American actor, businessman and singer-songwriter. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, he appeared in the television shows Star Search and The New Mickey Mouse Club as a child. In the late 1990s, Timberlake rose to prominence as the lead singer and youngest member of the boy band 'N Sync, whose launch was financed by Lou Pearlman.

During the group's hiatus, Timberlake released his solo studio albums Justified (2002) and FutureSex/LoveSounds (2006); the former spawned hits "Cry Me a River" and "Rock Your Body", while the latter debuted atop the U.S. Billboard 200 and produced the Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles "SexyBack", "My Love", and "What Goes Around... Comes Around". With each album exceeding sales of seven million copies worldwide, he was established as one of the most commercially successful singers. From 2007 through 2012, Timberlake focused on his acting career, effectively putting his music career on hiatus; he held starring roles in the films The Social Network, Bad Teacher, In Time and Friends with Benefits.

In 2013, Timberlake resumed his music career with his third and fourth albums The 20/20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2. The former became one of the best-selling records of the year and spawned hits "Suit & Tie" and "Mirrors", while the latter is preceded by lead single "Take Back the Night". Timberlake's work has earned him six Grammy Awards and four Emmy Awards. His other ventures include record label Tennman Records, fashion label William Rast, and the restaurants Destino and Southern Hospitality. - Wikipedia

Not even as good as TKO or Take Back The Night but it's still nice so it's good to see it doing well :D

YES for Justin

I'm pleased that this song seems to have returned Justin to relevance but really hoping it turns out to be a grower because I'm not really liking it very much so far.

The Kooks and JT/Timbaland have we gone back to 2006?

This is actually sounding pretty decent upon first listen, particularly the production - but Timbaland usually impresses me anyway.

Good to see JT back in the top 40. It's much better than TKO so good to see this turn around his relevance.

His 'comeback' really got quite unnecessarily complex after Mirrors didn't it? Although this is probably the best thing I've heard from him since then
