So happy for The Common Linnets! Another Dutch smash!

Sanna Nielsen top 40, such an epic sight! I've waited a decade for this moment. Another Melodifestivalen winner looking at a UK hit, 4 in a row!

interested to hear the new Nero single!

Rita Ora will obviously be #1 on iTunes on the first update.

Incorrect. #3 actually. :P

Good job you didn't do an Abdul Fareek. :P

Obviously was expecting it after how well it did just after the semifinals (and to be fair it did stand out a lot in the contest) but UGH at The Common Linnets doing so well. Please don't go top 10.

Pleased to see Carl Espen and András Kállay-Saunders both in the top 100! Conchita Wurst top 40 is great too, hope he (she? he? awkward) can make the top 40 officially.

French song doing bizarrely well for a song that came dead last with just 2 points  And how strange that Poland are that low despite winning the UK televote apparently...

Without the visual cleavage performance to accompany it, it's kinda unremarkable :P

Looks like the runner up's gonna beat the winner for the UK chartwise (despite us giving 12 to Austria) this time around, I did prefer it out of the two, will be nice to see a song like that in the top 20 (perhaps)

And Rita Ora for an easy number this week it seems. Meh.

What with Rita Ora and Jesus in Drag looking to go Top 10, it's gonna be a dull week. Sadly not even Calvin's production can save Rita. :(
I hope Conchita can go Top 20/30 officially even if its only inevitably for one week before a huge drop..

The bearded Austrian woman won the UK telephone vote.

The bearded Austrian woman won the UK telephone vote.

Conchita got 12 from the UK but the votes are decided on both a televote and a jury vote. Conchita was 3rd on both which put him/her 1st overall, but Poland won the actual televote (and actually ended up getting no points at all because they were 2nd last on the jury vote). Netherlands were 2nd on the televote which matches iTunes more.

Hooray at 'Calm After the Storm' sprinting into the top 10. Conchitas song was great too but the former were my winners so I'm glad they are in the lead.

I hope Molly can achieve a top 20 position a week Sunday as COTU didn't deserve such a ghastly position.

Anyway Eurovision aside GO RITA!!! :cheer:

My Eurovision predictions for Sunday:

09 The Common Linnets - Calm After The Storm

12 Molly - Children Of The Universe

16 Conchita Wurst - Rise Like A Phoenix

39 Basim - Cliche Love Song

40 Sanna Nielsen - Undo

56 Pollaponk - No Prejudice

60 FireLight - Coming Home

75 Soft Engine - Something Better

In other Eurovision news:

90. Rainmaker (Official #JoinUs Song) [bonus Track] - Emmelie de Forest

112. Rainmaker - Emmelie de Forest

Surprised at this getting so high, I'm sure Loreen never got a 2nd song into the iTunes top 100? Although I suppose she did perform 3 songs on the results last year while Emmelie only did 2 tonight.

Eurovision winners (slightly more comprehensive update than my earlier one):

25. Rise Like a Phoenix (Eurovision 2014 - Austria) - Conchita Wurst

49. Rise Like a Phoenix - Conchita Wurst

109. Only Teardrops - Emmelie de Forest

151. Only Teardrops (Eurovision 2013 - Denmark) - Emmelie de Forest

185. Euphoria (Single Version) - Loreen

239. Fairytale - Alexander Rybak

441. Love Shine a Light - Katrina & The Waves

483. Hold Me Now - Johnny Logan

535. Hold Me Now - Johnny Logan

624. Making Your Mind Up - Bucks Fizz

669. Save Your Kisses for Me - Brotherhood of Man

697. Hard Rock Hallelujah - Lordi

779. What's Another Year - Johnny Logan

788. Waterloo (English Version) - ABBA

818. Diva (English Radio Version) - Dana International

819. Satellite - Lena

1251. Making Your Mind Up - Bucks Fizz

1316. Puppet On a String - Sandie Shaw

1416. Save Your Kisses for Me - Brotherhood of Man

I dare say the UK winners might have been a bit higher now if Molly had done as well as predicted. Yay for Lordi still slaying *.* Loreen now ahead of Rybak again but still very impressive that Rybak has come close to the top 200 again a full 5 years after his win. And of course Dana International would be top 1,000 :P

No sign of 'Running Scared' at all :cheer:

On the album chart: 48. The Common Linnets - The Common Linnets {pre-order}

Conchita could never!

Am guessing the ESC pulled in decent viewers this year and that's reflected in the surge in songs on the iTunes chart!

I tuned in for the first time from the US if that counts.

I think the fact that Britain's Got Talent had finished before Eurovision started will have helped the viewing figures. I think in the past, Britain's Got Talent didn't finish until 30 minutes or so into Eurovision.
