Very disappointing to see SecondCity are likely to miss selling over 100k. :cry:

 

I'm hoping that 'Let It Go' won't enter the top ten. As much as I like the idea of a Disney song being in the top ten, it's way too screechy and dramatic for me.

If Idina ends up #11 again this week with 'Happy' at #10 I will die. (In a good way obviously). I think Idina will get top 10 for realz this week though most likely. At this stage I will just be happy she's not going to get the record for most weeks top 20 without going top 10, although I'm sure it'll get some sort of record anyway by entering the top 10 for the first time on its 25th chart week.

 

It would be really something if the two different versions of "Let It Go" hold the records for

 

a) Most weeks top 20 without entering the Top 10; and

b) Most weeks top 75 & top 100 without entering the Top 40.

Is there any chance Clarity will stay top 40 this week?

Good call but Elbow's week in the top 10 was their 24th week in the top 75 which means Idina would still just beat that using the evil 'only the top 75 counts' standard. 54th week in the top 100 and a much higher number than that for the top 200 probably.

 

I'm not saying for certain that 25th week would be a record but I certainly can't think of anything that beats that (and I'm now thinking Idina probably won't quite make it anyway).

That's not looking good for Second City, just 16k in two days. I think this will be unlikely to get 100k now, maybe 90-95k mac unless it gets a huge boost today and tomorrow
