Thanks!

Did you know Foxes is going to be in Doctor Who?

Maybe Big Brother can use "Let It Go" next week to give it another boost??

Clutching at straws here .

Bizarrely I don't want 'Let It Go' to reach the top 10. It's on course to have the best chart run of any single that has peaked at number 11!

I wonder if there's a chance that Idina could reach the Year End top 10 despite never making the official one at the rate it's hanging around? Probably not gonna happen, but would be wonderfully sweet if it did.

Still think it could get there eventually, I'd put money on it being the winners single for X Factor.

For Pippa: Gary Barlow #23

For Let It Go 2nite (#obsessed fan) : Foxes #26

For Bobmoo79: Michael Jackson #12 (Single)

For any Idina Mnezel fans: #13

Thank you for this.

Paloma's album has now crossed the 200k mark and with the way sales are going (and particularly with how well 'Only Love…' is holding up), it should pass platinum by August. I actually think she has a chance at another double platinum certification if 'A Perfect Contradiction' is promoted well during Q4 and/or there's a re-release down the line. Great result for her either way. I had thought on release that it would go platinum in the long-run as she's proven a very consistent seller with a lot of crossover appeal but I guess I completely underestimated her chances at a post-album hit single!

M.A.D getting that Reconnected-esque shady midweek sales increase. Hmmm ~~~

(it probably is just signings but I prefer to think there's some sort of illegal thing going on)

I really don't think X Factor would have the power to boost 'Let It Go' into the top 10 if BGT couldn't while the song is still 'hot' (no anti-pun intended).

M.A.D are doing CD signings it seems

MEET US and grab a CD :)

3 Paolo Nutini - Caustic Love (12.4k)

Looks like he's going to sell more than last week, so he might *just* scrape a week at YTD #1 next week.

I have been noticing that West Coast has been declining throughout the week.

Hopefully it will still be in the Top 20 by Sunday. Her album is doing amazingly for just a pre-order. Number 13 on UK iTunes and number 2 on US iTunes!!!! It's currently number 2 on iTunes worldwide albums!!! If this sustains for the next few weeks, we can see amazing sales for Ultraviolence.

GOOD.

The record company should have released it 6 weeks ago. I am LOVING the fact that it is flopping personally.

I think the main factor is that it's not a commercial song in the slightest. It's 'flopping' because it's a bizarre single choice. Had the label released it six weeks ago, I'm not convinced it would have done any better

'Shades Of Cool' would certainly be doing better than 'West Coast' if it was the single I think. 'West Coast' has grown on me a lot already though, it's just not a hit single in any way, shape or form really.
Interesting to see All of Me on 26k already this week - should break 40k sales again after slipping below it the last 2 weeks - any reason?

If 'West Coast' was released six weeks ago it would have probably went top 10, to be honest. Possibly top 5. It was practically top 40 on pre-orders and this is a terrible performance for a song that well initially. It probably would have bombed out of the charts (and by now we'd probably be discussing how unfortunate it was that it wasn't held back).

Still I do agree that the song wasn't built to be a hit, and the really lackluster video doesn't help matters at all. So far this era has been very poorly managed.

I'd say it will be just under 40k, like it has been the last 3 weeks (38,930-39,331-38,672). If it does break 40k, it will only be slightly and I think it will just be a natural increase rather than one that's a result from promotion.

It most probaby would have bombed up & down the chart but it would have bombed up to the top 10 due to her status as a massive star following her first era!

It's sales would be much better too!

I thought thurs&friday sales were better than that but perhaps not for a song that's been such as long running hit. Such consistent sales and that's without that much airplay!
