June 15, 201412 yr Interesting that this never re-enters during Euro tournaments, seeing as it was No.1 during Euro '98! I much prefer the 1998 version as I mentioned somewhere yesterday, the vocals on the original sound a little weedy in parts in comparison. Fantastic song anyway.
June 15, 201412 yr Oh YES, this is how to do a football song *.* The chorus is so uplifting! Makes me feel so patriotic. I slightly prefer the '98 version though (not that it's that much different ).
June 15, 201412 yr I have put both 96 and 98 versions as million sellers, as the OCC have combined them as 1 million seller, btw.
June 15, 201412 yr Very much over 'Loyal' now, not that I liked it that much in the first place anyway!

Born in Tappahannock, Virginia, he taught himself to sing and dance at a young age and was involved in his church choir and several local talent shows. Having signed with Jive Records in 2004, Brown released his self-titled debut studio album the following year. It peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 and was later certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). With his first single "Run It!" peaking atop the US Billboard Hot 100, Brown became the first male artist as a lead since Diddy in 1997 to have his debut single top the chart. His second album Exclusive (2007) spawned his second Hot 100 number one "Kiss Kiss", in addition to "With You" and "Forever". The album was also certified double platinum by the RIAA. In 2009, Brown received much media attention after pleading guilty to felony assault of singer and his then-girlfriend Rihanna; he was sentenced to five years of probation and six months of community service. His third album Graffiti was released later that year, and included the top-twenty single "I Can Transform Ya". Brown's fourth album F.A.M.E. (2011) became his first to top the Billboard 200; it spawned hit singles "Yeah 3x", "Look at Me Now", and "Beautiful People". F.A.M.E. earned Brown his first Grammy Award for Best R&B Album at the 54th Grammy Awards. His fifth album Fortune was released in 2012. However, after the release of Exclusive, Brown's albums have not been well received by music critics. Apart from his work in the music industry, Brown has pursued an acting career. In 2007, he made his on-screen feature film debut in Stomp the Yard, and appeared as a guest on the television series The O.C. Other films Brown has appeared in, include This Christmas (2007), Takers (2010), Think Like a Man (2012), and Battle of the Year (2013). Throughout his career, Brown has won numerous awards, including two NAACP Image Awards, three American Music Awards and nine BET Awards. - Wikipedia Chart history (Year peak title): Chris Brown 2006 02 Run It! The core four-piece of the group were known as the Chatto Quartet, a classically trained string quartet that performed J.S. Bach and cited Jacqueline du Pré as an influence, but their post-show, wind-down music often consisted of garage, two-step, Craig David, and Arcade Fire tracks. The quartet members were aware of both producer Jon Wandeck and MC Ssegamic through the duo's work in photography, and when Wandeck suggested they play on one of his house music cuts, Clean Bandit were born. With MC Ssegamic on the mike, they released the classical-meets-house-meets-hip-hop-meets-heartbreak song "Telephone Banking" in the summer of 2011. Their Dance Armstrong mixtape followed in 2012, while 2013 saw the release of their Mozart's House EP. - iTunes Chart history (Year peak title): Clean Bandit 2013 17 Mozart's House -1- 2013 43 Dust Clears -2- 2014 01 Rather Be (Clean Bandit Feat. June 15, 201412 yr As much as I like 'Rather Be', I would have preferred if it swapped places with 'Extraordinary'
June 15, 201412 yr Rather Be still doing well. I think this will be a million seller by the end of the summer. :)
June 15, 201412 yr I remember this song being heavily used at the end of Celebrity Big Brother... it's definitely been around a while now that a new series is on! (albeit, not a celebrity one) Still somehow sounding incredible, though.
