meh, still quite a big lead really. 5SOS will keep the #1 on Sunday I think (even if it's only by a few thousand)

I'm not doubting for one second that their label/team use their fair share of underhand and dodgy tricks, but surely even they would realise spending money on it themselves in that way would be pointless? :lol:

Absolute rubbish. They have a FANBASE that buy the PHYSICALS (they have two of them) and digital EPs.

Ella caught up by 6.8k in one day. 5SOS still decreasing compared to Ella on iTunes, so I think Ella will comfortably be ahead of them come Sunday. ^_^

God I hope so, Ella's number one on iTunes but 5SOS are at 6, and Ella will probably sell another 30-40k over the next few days but it will be interesting especially as both acts are at the Capital FM gig on Saturday so this might be a close one

It is a proper chart battle this week for number 1, slightly reminds me of the darkness vs mad mad world.

Or Lily Allen vs Bastille.

Reminds me a bit of The Vamps v OneRepublic in that it's a boyband fanbase-fuelled midweek #1 versus a Ryan Tedder-written/produced wide-appealing, more consistent sELLA :kink:.

In terms of songs that are eligible I think they're actually holding up similarly, if not better, to last time. 5 isn't too bad.
