EDIT Just seen it is an official single release and not an instant grat - fantastic. Gonna get it later in the week & Dont You Find is top 100 too. Must have been his Zane Lowe interview the other night!

I assume these are all ineligible because they are instant grats?

Instant grats don't even make sense for artists like Robert Plant who are not going to have singles success regardless.

I don't think instant grats are done to help singles success anyway. I think they're done mainly to get more people to pre-order the album, so if it succeeds at that it's fine.

Exactly, vidcapper needs still some catching up with the speed of the music industry

Its going to be an interesting chart next week, 2 good tracks getting released at the weekend, I'm leaning towards Duke Dumont as I actually prefer the track over Lilly & Robin. Could actually see the top 2 in 6 figures. I know Prayer In C has been #1 in various European countries, just have to wait and see if the track does the same over here.

Lilly Wood seems to be moving up much quicker and she wont likely be Alisted u ntil today on radio 1s playlist - top 2 sales should be great!
Ariana absolutely smashing it. Really need to listen to 'Best Mistake' but the clips sound great!
One of them should just push back a week, although it might be getting a bit late for that.

Nah, a good old fashioned battle for Number 1 never hurt anyone. Both will get good sales, so let the battle commence is what I say! :D

I reckon the number 2 act could climb the following week but either way as much as I'd love to see Lilly and Duke both get a week at number one I can see a high selling top 2

If anything I think either act could release this Sunday and get to number one

Ariana Grande is the big pop star of 2014 then it seems. Last year it was Miley, year before Nicki Minaj, year before... Rihanna?

Imo Duke Dumont needs to debut at the top or he'll never get there. Lilly Wood will have a better second week as it's more likely to have a wider, longer lasting appeal. I'm supporting Lilly in this battle!

Lilly Wood and Duke Dumont would be a great top 2. I just hope it's Lilly Wood who goes to #1 as I really love that song and would love for Robin Schulz to be behind another massive hit

2011 was obviously Adele. Rihanna's biggest years were probably 2007 (because of Umbrella alone), 2008 or 2010.

In 2012 it was definitely Emeli Sande, she was absolutely everywhere that year (and 2013 for that matter :drama:). She was on TV probably every day. Runner up for 2012 was Rita Ora.

Some movements,

George Ezra - Blame It On Me  40

Iggy Azalea Ft Rita Ora - Black Widow  48

Hopefully another top 40 hit for George. New one is really good!
