August 17, 201412 yr Gecko. Good song, but again, I need to give it a rest for a week or so as I'm getting a little board of it. :( *bored :D
August 17, 201412 yr No no no Jameela it's the 2nd Ed Sheeran offering not 3rd. Gurl. Really tired of 'Thinking Out Loud' now, so I'm delighted that 'Don't' has rightfully overtaken!
August 17, 201412 yr 'Don't' overtaking 'Thinking Out Loud' again woop. Thought it might have taken another week. (Both reaching new peaks again anyway!)
August 17, 201412 yr Weirdly, 'Thinking Out Loud' has yet to properly click with me . From first listen I thought it had a modern classic feel to it and I can completely understand why it should be a single, especially during Q4/X Factor season, but it doesn't actually leave much of an impression on me personally. I'd much rather listen to 'Sing', 'Don't' and about 2/3 of the album over it. Ideally, I'd want 'Afire Love' to be the soppy MOR Q4 single as that's undeniably stunning (IMO) so hopefully it'll be chosen afterwards at some stage.
August 17, 201412 yr What a gorgeous track, I hope he really milks the album for all its worth. So many single opportunities, this should be huge though, hope they don't leave it too late.
August 17, 201412 yr Re: that Bakermat track - it gives me hope that Public Service Broadcasting might one day get a charting single. Also, it's pretty class. We live in hope. Perhaps Neil Kinnock's "It ends with the grotesque chaos of a Labour council, a Labour council hiring taxis to scuttle round the city handing out redundancy notices to its own workers." Or perhaps his If Margaret Thatcher is re-elected as prime minister on Thursday, I warn you. I warn you that you will have pain – when healing and relief depend upon payment. I warn you that you will have ignorance – when talents are untended and wits are wasted, when learning is a privilege and not a right. I warn you that you will have poverty – when pensions slip and benefits are whittled away by a government that won’t pay in an economy that can't pay. I warn you that you will be cold – when fuel charges are used as a tax system that the rich don't notice and the poor can't afford. I warn you that you must not expect work – when many cannot spend, more will not be able to earn. When they don't earn, they don't spend. When they don't spend, work dies. I warn you not to go into the streets alone after dark or into the streets in large crowds of protest in the light. I warn you that you will be quiet – when the curfew of fear and the gibbet of unemployment make you obedient. I warn you that you will have defence of a sort – with a risk and at a price that passes all understanding. I warn you that you will be home-bound – when fares and transport bills kill leisure and lock you up. I warn you that you will borrow less – when credit, loans, mortgages and easy payments are refused to people on your melting income. If Margaret Thatcher wins on Thursday, I warn you not to be ordinary. I warn you not to be young. I warn you not to fall ill. I warn you not to get old.
August 17, 201412 yr Ok so the first song today I actively dislike. Just plain boring... Am glad Don't is finally the highest of the 3, now that's a great song by contrast
August 17, 201412 yr Does anyone else think that 'Thinking Out Loud' could be a million seller by this time next year? I certainly think so.
August 17, 201412 yr 'All of Me' top 15 :drama: Really?!?!? REALLY?!?!?!?!  Edited August 17, 201412 yr by buzz_person
August 17, 201412 yr Why must they always insist on playing the full 5 minute version of this borefest & cutting short many brilliant songs earlier?
